Comfort Inn & Suites, Salinas CA

There are 2 properties in The Choice chain approximately 300 yd apart from each other (qualityand comfort). Avoid the other one at all cost as this 1 is so much better.
Great room, very friendly staff And a decent breakfast in the morning.

Good location, rooms clean and warm. Breakfast room only has very limited space for 3 floors of rooms.
Needs to remove 2 sofas and add at least 4 more breakfast tables

Owner, when confronted with a small issue, had an attitude with me. Breakfast certainly not the best. Over priced like everything in California. They have 4 semi truck parking spaces.

Very poor breakfast options. Don’t let them fool you. This place is old. And it looks it. Would not stay here again, unless it’s with work paying for it. Go to the Holiday in. Way better place

Very bad service, the breakfast is discusting very simple and without any variety. Also is very expensive for a really bad service. PLEASE DONT GO THERE!

Clean small dated rooms. Check in was speedy and very pleasant. Needs to be updated but clean

Was told at check in that there would be a nice warm breakfast in the morning. There was coffee and gas station food to warm up. No fruit nothing to drink but the coffee. Very disappointed I was looking forward to a good breakfast. Guess I will go buy one at McDonald’s. And the manager was to busy with her in-laws to discuss it with me

I mean for the price I was expecting more but it was decent. It was clean. It definitely needs a remodeling though.

The hotel granted is a little ran down but the family owned business did try to accommodate every need. The daughter and mother I had most contact with was extremely helpful to me and held the doors when I was trying to get all my luggage through the door. The plus side of this hotel is the bigger refrigerators and the kitchenette sink in the living room area. Not the worst hotel. I do understand with covid pandemic alot of hotels aren't done with upgrades. Very close to hwy too

Not the best, not the worst.rooms outdated and old.housekeeping could do better, but I usually clean and disinfect rooms myself even though I shouldn’t have to, just extra precaution.clearly did not clean bathroom as hair was found in it upon arrival.house keeping came again while I was gone to do what I thought was clean the room, yet the same hair was still there that had been there upon arrival which shows that don’t do a good clean up job of the bathrooms if any at all.

I loved this place! Indoor swimming pool and jacuzzi! Yay! Clean room, breakfast starting at 6: 30 and great customer service!

Dirty and tired. A homeless man got into the lobby during the night and pulled the fire alarm. Everyone in the hotel got up and had a little, groggy "what the heck is going on right now? " social event. Breakfast was a danish and frozen burrito. There were literally only these two items. Never again.

The rooms are clean & comfortable! I was traveling by myself and I felt safe. The staff is very friendly & helpful. Definitely would stay here again when in the area.

Great room, great location, fast service for check in, lots of parking, high price though paid $223 for a two queen bed room, but it was last minute and I didn't have any other options
