The room was great but the curtains didn't start closed to keep the room dark. Breakfast was great!

Hotel might have been remodeled because our room was magnificent. They also offer free breakfast and that would include fresh eggs. Next time in Sacramento will for sure stay here again.

Horrible mattress was so soft I felt folded in half and got zero sleep plus loud guste in hallways all night

A good quiet place with a free breakfast. My truck and gear were safe overnight in the gated lot, and the room was in good order. The only downside to this place is that you can't enter the driveway from the other side of the road since there is no median. You have to drive around the block, which takes several minutes. That said, it wouldn't deter me from staying here again.

I love it here. Mercedes is so helpful and she provides exceptional customer service. Thank you Mercedes!

Good room and pool, but there was a creepy guy hanging around in the hotel that was stoned or drunk and I reported it to the front desk, and they did not do anything about it.

Wish I can give it negative stars. The Redhead at the front desk "Mercedes" was rude to my mother and I, giving attitude, slaming our cards on the counter, giving pure disrespect. Refused to refund our reservation. Drove 8+ hours and read the reviews thinking this would be a good place to rest, but I was wrong. The location is super suspicious and not safe. Sketchy people coming in and out of the hotel and parking lot. Please save time and money, DONT STAY HERE!

The gal with the red hair at check-in was very nice and cordial. I also called downstairs a few times and the lady on the evening shift was super sweet and helpful. The room was a basic room but what mattered is the important areas were clean, bathroom tub and beds, counters and surfaces too, my room had a microwave and fridge and they were clean. However one of the bath towels was really dirty when i unrolled it and the carpet was not vacuumed the drapes were dirty too. I would also suggest window cleaning from the outside as the windows were quite dirty. Also the hotel was quite noisy on a Monday, people were being rowdy out in the halls most of the night.

Beds were hard. Entrance is only accessible from one direction, so u have to circle block if coming from another way. Had a hot breakfast with Waffles, pancakes, eggs, sausage, oatmeal, toast beagles etc. Also had cold options like cereal, fruit, yogurt, & hardboiled eggs.

Close to the freeway, gas stations, fast food restaurants, as well as a denny's and nearby bars. Prices are decent and they offer complimentary breakfast.

Everything you'd expect from a 2-star Hotel, aside from two moderate caveats:

Loud doors. These doors are solid and heavy, which is good, but poorly maintained door closers mean doors that slam unless you actively prevent that. Expect to hear occasional door slams in your room in the form of dull thuds. Not enough to be annoying, but enough to notice.
Needs a better cable package. HBO is nice to have, but scaling issues mean you have black bars on all four sides of the screen instead of a properly scaled ratio. Quality reminds me of early DVDs. More cable is needed, various channels that were in the package had "connection issues" which are unresolvable with a modem reset. Not many channels to choose from, either. Management should upgrade their service to be more modern.

Above and beyond:
Staff friendliness and courteousness were outstanding. My room was modified from two double to a king upon check in to accommodate a website booking error, and a crib was provided immediately upon request for our infant.

Indoor pool and hot tub were both well maintained, clean, and perfect temperatures. Not many 2-star hotels have a good indoor pool area! Perfect for this wet and cold winter!

We stayed here for one-night while on a road trip with kiddos. The hotel was clean enough and parts of the hotel are updated. Staff are nice, the hot breakfast was okay, but the best part was the pool and hot tub. While the area itself was older looking, the water was crystal clear and clean smelling. Temperature wise this was the best I’ve ever experienced at a hotel pool. Usually the water is pretty freezing and I never want to get in with my kiddos, but not here! The water felt so nice in the pool and the hot tub was hot too (a little hot for me, but hot enough for my husband). I’ve stayed at two other Comfort Inns on this trip and we had the best indoor pool experience here.
