Comfort Inn Sunnyvale - Silicon Valley

Odd place to drive in and out of. I'm mainly talking about the nearby intersection along the first main street.

Not a bad place. Maybe a little different. Missed Breakfast: (

My bf and I stayed for two nights two weeks ago and had a great stay! Our room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great too, and I noticed the manager come to check and have the staff refill everything even when breakfast was ending soon. My bf loved the waffles, and I made myself a breakfast sandwich. People at the front desk were very friendly too. The area felt safe with plenty of parking, only thing is you can hear people in the hallways if you’re a light sleeper, but was not an issue for me.

The location is great. The gym closes at 10pm and was slightly warm (I arrived late), but was ACd in the morning. For the equipment see My photos. My room was decent for the price

Clean and comfortable. Rooms are pretty small. (I found out that this is normal for Comfort Inns)

This was not far for to go to Levi Stadium to watch the 49ers vs Seattle Seahawks. There is room service everyday the place is quite the contanetiel breakfast is ok as well.

A no frills place to sleep with a kind of vibe of being in a foreign country. I mean that as a compliment! The bed and and pillows are very comfortable with it’s own Kruger coffee maker in the room. I stayed three nights and on the last night my key didn’t work and had to go down twice to get a working key. The young guy at the front desk was very sweet and tried to give me a working one but his machine was malfunctioning. He had to let me in with a master key. Also the snack machine ate my money but never dispensed the snack. Just as well, you don’t know how long the food has been in there! I didn’t take advantage of the continental breakfast but it smelled good as I walked past.

Staff was amazing and very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was also good and consisted of eggs, sausage, breads, cereals, pancakes and two types of waffles.

Unfortunately stay wasn't very comfortable or clean. Our jacuzzi bathtub was very dirty and even had blood on it. I wiped it down with a towel and it turned brown, very gross, glad I brought cleaning supplies. Beds are quite hard here as well and the side gate to enter the building had a broken lock and wasn't very safe.

We stayed here in this hotel for about 10 days, the hotel is conveniently located, rooms are good, In breakfast they serve scramble eggs, cereals, juices, waffles, pan cakes, breads etc, they have decent basic gym, should have included few dumbbells.

Value for money stay. Decent breakfast and very helpful staff. The only downside was the AC, makes sounds at times and disturbs sleep but it could be with just one room. Overall a good place for a budget stay.

My room smelled bad but I was tired and didn't say anything. Instead, I cracked the window open hoping the fresh air would help. Without telling me the hotel charged my credit card $50. I called to find out why and the manager told me it was for smoking in the room. I told him I wasn't a smoker and have never smoked a day in my life. What he doesn't know is I have health issues and can't smoke even if I wanted to. He said he didn't know if I had my boyfriend over and he smoked etc. First, I'm married so no, I don't have a boyfriend. Second, I'm out of town staying by myself.

The manager told me he could've charged me a $100 but only charged me $50. Then he dropped it down to $25. He acted like he was doing me a favor; he didn't understand that I shouldn't have to pay for something that I didn't do. He blamed for not complaining about my room when I arrived.

I'm wondering if this is some kind of scam. I paid the full price on priceline and when I arrived the hotel charged me an additional $5 a night. Something doesn't seem right here. I'm fighting it otherwise I'm out an additional $70.

I had a horrible experience at the quality inn down the street. You guys were able to take me in as I ran out of that location really quick. You were supposed to do a refund request from other hotel and not charge me, this was not the case and I instead settled for points with customer support.

Nice hotel with big parking lot, staff is friendly and polite, Room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast is super, they have a station with coffee, cereal, waffles, eggs, fruits that make you begin the day strong, good place to rest.

Decent looking. Only visited briefly but the room was pretty nice and the free breakfast was decent.

Good hotel to stay for a short trip. The rooms were clean and they had a great hot breakfast. The location is also great for getting around the South Bay. I would avoid getting a room near the ice machines as they get quite loud.

Everything is just great! Housekeeping are very kind and helpful, the breakfasts are very good, and the rooms are nice.

Front desk people were awesome.but waiting for housekeeping is a joke.they are short staffed.but not short on the price $ won't return.rented a room for 3 days only to return to my room without bed sheets or towels.housekeeping was on lunch.gotta wait.

On the plus side, location and price are good. If you're looking for something fancy or well maintained, this may not be the best choice for you. Parking is free, but challenging (lots of large trucks parked there). This is a relatively inexpensive lodging option close to a number of tech companies. It tends to have a lot of construction traffic and some longer-term residents.

The place had a funky smell, some of the occupants were strange but on the plus side, it had great security lighting.

Stayed one night without problem (prepaid via booking.com), but they incorrectly charged my credit card with 100$ deposit which caused a lot of headache.
