Community Memorial Hospital – Ojai

Lobby lady is RUDE.she's not that way when a doctor passes through. If this is your first point of intro you've FAILED. FIRE HER.

Generally, the staff is very friendly, but unfortunately they are usually understaffed, and for the most part under-equipped. Its better than nothing, but if you have some rare condition i recommend going to Ventura memorial. They are just better equipped for those unique scenarios.

I will say tho, that on my most recent visit, one of the nurses aggressively tried to insist that theres no such thing as a vaccination for tetanus haha.

Mother in law in er not knowing if she going to die my wife with her very upset not knowing what going on or may have to make a life discussion and your hospital will not let me go be with her what kind of person does that what kind of hospital does this Ian going to let Ojai people know not to waste their time with this hospital

Visited last year while on vacation and they essentially gave my daughter a cup of water and said she’s all good. We had already met our deductible and they were covered by our insurance but decided to bill us in a way the insurance wouldn’t cover it. We’ve now been fighting them for 5 months to fix it and they haven’t. Definitely would not recommend going here

Had to bring my toddler to the ER and could not have had a more efficient and pleasant experience. Were well taken care of and Dr and RNs took time to answer all of our questions and made themselves available for follow up contact after we had left. Very grateful and relieved to have such great care in our small town

Clean surfacing. Temperatures Check Required/ Mask requirements. Compassionate staff. ICU Nursing Staff are very professional yet show empathy.

This place is absolutely amazing, I spent the better part of a week here in ICU because my lungs got hurt from vaping, and I literally couldn’t have imagined a better experience. Staff was all super friendly and supportive, my doctor was calm patient and always happy to answer my questions.

If there’s a place to be sick this is it!

Very bad overall experience with this hospital. I had to visit the emergency room for a UTI. I was out of state on business, staying at a resort and Ojai Valley Memorial Hospital was the only option. It was completely empty, no other patient inside, yet they still made me wait one and a half hours to see a doctor. I just requested antibiotics. No blood work necessary. Just antibiotics, which I purchased from a nearby pharmacy.
I have since been billed $715 for the "attending' Doctor and another $331.80 for the actual visit. This is extortion! Doctors and Hospitals like the Ojai Valley Memorial are the reason our country has such extortionate health care costs. They are greedy and dishonorable!
I called the billing office to dispute this charge and she was completed uninterested in offering any assistance.
I suggest you go elsewhere for your emergency & health care needs!

Most relaxing ER experience I've had. No wait at all, very clean comfortable rooms and very attentive staff and doctor.
