Such a wonderful company to work for, great management and team. Since day 1 I was always proud to work for such a great boss along with the many other bosses, our wonderful clients, it’s truly the best job ever. They care for their staff and clients and try to provide the best services possible. Proud to be part of the team!

Please beware of this company. I had the displeasure of working for this company for a little over a year. I worked remotely during COVID-19. Online classes were implemented to “help” with client goals. Unfortunately, classes were unorganized and had no credible knowledge behind them. The company says it is “person centered” and that it gives client choices but it does not. Clients are manipulated into attending and participating in classes and activities that they do not want to. The turn over rate here is RIDICULOUS. I truly believe that the handful of people who have stayed are only there because of “job security “ and nothing more. Management is Trash. While employees are struggling to make do, management is paid quite nicely to do hardly any work. If you enjoy nepotism, favoritism and being overworked for little pay then by all means apply. Just know that you are expected to use your own car and pray to God it never breaks down because they will hassle you. Due to my son being sick and needing around the clock support, I had to quit, HR approved my unemployment and agreed that this was a valid reason to leave since they refused to offer me any type of options. In fact the only option I had was to work in person and nothing more. A few months after my departure, I was sent notice that the owner appealed my unemployment stating that I never “explored other work options”. Months later EDD sided with me and they STILL tried numerous times to appeal it. So far with no luck. I had nothing with bad experiences with this company and constantly had anxiety because of their intense work load and finger pointing when things went array. If things didn’t already sound bad, I referred by boyfriend to apply. He was hired. He is a Navy veteran. This was common knowledge as he sported many Navy patches. Anytime he had an issue and communicated with the company he was told that he was being “aggressive” and that it was probably cause of his veteran status. Management treated him awful and fired him without any proper investigation. They used the typical veteran stereotype and said he was hostile and aggressive. There are currently several lawsuits against this company for the treatment of their employees. The only pro to working here is that the clients are amazing. Please beware of this company and do not be fooled by their staged photo opportunities.

If I could give no stars I totally would do so. I worked for this company for about a year and have never worked for such a toxic work environment. Management is all over the place and bullies clients into doing things that they don't want to do. Such as cleaning the toilets at the office, moving furniture and decorations for the boss and forcing clients to go the gym even after they said that this is not what they want to do. They used my veteran status against me and painted me like your typical war vet.a threat. When in reality they did not like taking advice from others that had previous leadership experience. Manager also gave out alcohol for the Christmas baskets and displayed inappropriate gestures while on zoom. They preach how it's about clients choice but in reality it's all about money. There is a reason why this company has such a high turnover rate. Save your time and send your family members to vocational plus or best buddies. These companies care and are ran by people who have children and family members as clients or with disabilities.

I currently work as a job coach and I am leaving my review as an employee. The executive director is passionate about the company and always looks for new ideas and builds the company around teamwork and motivates staff in different ways. She understands different learning curves and I'm never afraid to ask questions or guidance.

The clients at CVS provide different challenges and I don't mean that in a negative way. What I mean is that they have taught me that everyone has certain needs and learns differently. Positive people and positive vibes

Great Community Integrated Employment Program! This company cares very much about its consumers as well as its staff. I encourage everyone to contact CVRC and get a worker to help them schedule a tour and see the difference for yourself!
