Could not have had a better experience with Compass Balloons! It was nothing but smooth sailing and champagne! HIGHLY recommend.

We enjoyed our flight and Josh was an excellent pilot. The views are epic and highly recommend splurging on this once in a lifetime opportunity.

The staff is very friendly and gives good safety explanations as well as what we see or observe.

Absolute BONKERS how incredible our experience was with this Compass. I have a buddy that works at a golf course in the area, and the guys were so cool that they lightly grazed one of the lakes on the course and took off from there.

Genuinely good people to chat with and have fun + they'll do everything necessary to make your trip memorable.

You will not be disappointed! Ryan is an excellent pilot and the entire crew was professional and we could tell they enjoyed their jobs. One suggestion is to have a step ladder or portable stairs to get into and out of the balloon

BOOK COMPASS! Incredible views and seamless booking, with huge contrast between Compass and competition. Our day was a little cloudy, and our pilot Ash proved the value of experience and a well-run company. He got us in the air for a wonderful ride, sailing above fields of other balloons that never got off the ground, and lots of disappointed customers who got up at 4am only to have their flights cancelled after arrival. Ash was exceptionally engaging and knowledgeable, added to an incredibly memorable trip. I worried about motion sickness and fear of heights.neither were even remotely of concern, it feels incredibly safe and tranquil in the air. Private is worth the investment. Enjoy the ride!

Great first time experience. Our guide was funny and insightful, the ride there was pretty good, they do a bathroom stop before you get onto the balloon and have a little surprise at the end.

Decided to go on one of these rides for a birthday and it was absolutely 100% worth it. It’s been a couple hours since we landed and she is still at a loss for words due to how incredible the ride was. It’s cheesy to say but it was truly a magical and ethereal experience. We will definitely be doing it again and requesting for the same people that helped out on our ride: Hector, Ash, and Beans. They all made the experience so much better and memorable. We look forward to riding with them again.

I booked a 4 person private sunrise ride for my wife’s birthday. First I would highly recommend doing a private ride if you have numbers that match one of their options as it creates a much more intimate ride. The ride itself was amazing, serene and beautiful.

Our pilot, Ash, was awesome and made the experience even better. He was very knowledgeable and knew the area, pointing out different landmarks. His love for flying was apparent and was happy to explain our countless questions about ballooning.

Ash and his crewman “beans” were awesome from the start, they wanted us to be the first in the air and their sense of urgency was clear. While they were hustling and literally running to get things set up, we never felt rushed ourselves. We were in fact the first balloon up and one of only a few that actually caught the sunset from the air.

It was a great experience and if you have the option I would request Ash as your pilot.

Had a great birthday balloon ride! The pilot was funny and professional. If you’re able to peel yourself out of bed to catch a sunrise balloon ride I highly recommend Compass. We paid for the group ride but it ended up being private since no one else had signed up for that morning. We were up in the air in time to actually see the sun come up where the other balloon companies were still setting up and didn’t quite get up in the air in time. During the ride we got to sip on mimosas provided by Compass and see all the vineyards beneath us illuminate by the sun. Irvin & Josh made the experienced so awesome and set up a small breakfast for us when we landed while they gathered up the balloon and other equipment. I can’t wait to go up in a hot air balloon again sometime!

The balloon ride was one of the best experiences of our lives! The pilot was greatly experienced and we felt safe during the entire ride.
