Comprehensive Blood & Cancer Center (CBCC) reviews
16I received my radiation cancer treatment with Dr Moran and his team. My husband and I were very pleased with the warmth, compassion and knowledge that Dr Moran showed in caring for me. He answered all of our questions and explained the risks and benefits to the treatment. His care team Shannon, David and Lisa who preformed my scans each day were a joy to work with. They made me feel comfortable and made my experience more pleasant with their smiles and friendly conversations. I am truly grateful that I found Dr Moran @ CBCC and would highly recommend him to anyone having to deal with Cancer and needing a Radiation Oncologist.
CBCC your a wonderful place to be I spent many days at treatment with my mother she made places like this so special she loves her nurses so much Cindy Miranda passed I'm sorry to say December 3 23 at 3am. She was so patient and strong stronger than I will ever be. Thank you so much CBCC
Customer (patient) service is important. I service customers daily just not in the medical field. Your scheduling team needs to improve. Some of the team anticipate patients, and they will quickly say I can help. Others are not focused nor friendly they act as if I interrupted their conversations while visiting or on their cell phones. Many times when I finish my appointment I have stood there waiting for someone to assist. Terrible check out with scheduling team.
I love CBCC and sing their praises to everyone. Today however was very upsetting. I had some things planned to do this morning but awoken to a text saying my appointment was 2 hours earlier. I called and they confirmed 11 am. I thought I was losing my mind until I found my appointment card. I was unable to go to the once a month senior food drive because of this. When I arrived I was told someone should have called me. That never happened.
Dr Moran is the bomb, the Nuclear Bomb! He nuked my lung cancer tumors into remission-wielding his Cyber Knife like a Jedi knight. He has been diligent in making sure the enemy hasn't sneaked back into my lungs by patrolling them with follow-up CT and PET scans.
He listens and then communicates with confident compassion. He takes epic pride in his skill-his ability to identify the threat and then formulate and execute a comprehensive plan of attack and recovery.
There are way too many unremarkable, people-pusher doctors in our community who either never cared or gave up caring about their patients, their oaths, their own achievements and reputations.everything other than their paychecks. Dr Moran's remarkable skill, dedication, and energy make him stand out-like a Jedi knight-from the sad sack of has-beens or never-weres that punch the time clock for paychecks rather than victories.
So, what do I think of Dr Angel Moran? The "force" is with him. I trusted him with my life and am still here to tell the story.
Dr Moran and his staff are VERY Polite and Professional. He sat and explained everything that he planned to do and answered every question we had and believe me we had a lot. He has been there for us through out the whole treatment process and is still there for us during the recovery. I would recommend him to anyone or anytime he’s a great Doctor and I’m glad he was our Doctor he made this tremendous time of pain and suffering through treatment easier he has a great bedside manner and really has compassion for our brother through his journey with cancer. He’s a great man.
I was treated here in 2015-16 and, as thankful as I was I was cancer free, I missed ‘my’ team so much! 7 years later, I see Dr Kanamori for unknown blood issues, but he and all the other staff, have been beyond gracious, caring and genuinely seem to care. I wish there was a General Practioner here; I could come here for practically everything! Love this center
They have an amazing service. They are professional kind and they are always ready to help. I am very happy with the way they are treating my dad.
Had cyberKnife treatment there. I am now facing other surgeries to correct the work they did. I am deeply disappointed with the treatment I got in their CyberKnife unit. Not only was my my rectum damaged, my urinary track was also damaged. I am very sorry that I allow them to work on me.
As a follow up, CBCC responded to my review asking I send them a private message with my contact information. Just how do you send a private message?

This is a follow up to my review of CBCC and my Cyberknife (CK) treatment. I was a bit harsh with my review however, I want to state that the staff have done all they could to help me. The lady who did the CK treatment, her name is Lorri, was very helpful during the post operation. She explained in detail what one should expect after CK was completed. Also, my doctor, Angel Moranm M. D has also be very helpful in explaining some of the side effects of CK treatment. So, although my side effect were painful I must commend CBCC staff for the post CK treatment. Every patient has a differant reaction to CK. Anyway, thanks to everyone at CBCC for your concern.
The staff at CBCC are wonderful. I would like to mention the ones that are working directly with me. Dr. Patel, Dr. Moran, nurse Maria and Lisa Stoner who does my radiation. These 4 have treated me very special and have kept me well informal on my treatment plan. I could not have asked for any better care. Thank you!
Lisa Stoner, Shannon, Jim, David, and Jeffrey all are radiation technicians who diligently work in the Radiation Treatment room 1. They are all very caring professionals. They are all courteous, polite and treat me with kindness and compassion. They are always upbeat and they answer all my questions. They all always makes me feel comfortable during my radiation treatment! I always feel better and welcome here at CBCC. Thanks for making my miracle of being cancer free a reality!
Since I have been going to CB&CC Ihave been treated with dignity and respect. Lisa Stoner #18118 has taken very good care of me every morning. I greatly appreciate her.
Excellent and friendly staff. They do all they can to make you feel comfortable, while receiving your treatment. Huge, beautiful waiting area. Would recommend to others who expect excellent care.
The staff and doctors are very helpful and supportive. They take the time to sit and talk to you during your appointment. My PCP is literally out of the room just 2 minutes after walking in, so it’s nice to actually feel cared for here. Lastly, the facility is very clean and modern. I look forward to my future care at CBCC.
Not sure what takes so long. Is it overscheduling or something else? They should value your time as well.
Always so positive and we're in and out everytime! We love the staff and the doctors.
