Conceptions Children's Resale, Santee CA

I was always going to conceptions since the other store was open. I always look forward to coming in for my appointment to sell here. The staff is always kind and very fair For cash or store credit. So happy to have a place you can trust and be able to get some cash for the stuff my kids want one day and forget all about it a month later:) thanks conceptions.

Not only does Conceptions offer a large, well-organized variety of children's clothes, but they also have a wonderful maternity section, and lots of helpful, unique accessories and gear. Everything is well-organized, clean, and fairly priced.

While the selection offered is wonderful, the staff are even better. I had a fantastic experience with an employee named Zoey. She was incredibly kind and patient with my rambunctious, social toddler, who wanted to see everything she was doing at all times. When he had an accident, she even voluntarily ran out to my car to get my diaper bag. On top of that, Zoey helped me find exactly what I was looking for.

Great place to find gently used great (excellent condition) baby cloths. Friendly ladies that run the store. Even had cloth diapers! Definitely recommend.

I have not sold anything to them but my girls and I love going shopping there. My 2 little girls ask if they can go in to pick an outfit anytime we are in that shopping area.

I love this store, the staff is usually super nice and dont mind my children being children and are super helpful.the store is usually clean and well stocked.never had an issue in the years we've been coming, until yesterday. Danielle was aggressively Rude and Extremley unprofessional.simply because she over heard me privatley speaking to my husband how I thought she was being a little rude while we were in the toy section.she Told us we could leave the store and that she wasnt being rude. After I purchased my items for my baby, I let her know that she was being very rude and unprofessional jumping into the conversation and attacking us like such.after we left my husband was loading our 3 kids, as I stoked up a conversation with another mom about our kids whom are similar in age and I asked her if she witness the interaction inside.which she hadn't, Danielle barged outside angrily and (I have on film because she made me so uneasy in the first place) threatened to call the police if i didnt remove myself from the property because i was harassing the customers.
I've NEVER EVER EVER been treated like this.i know for a fact i didnt deserve to be treated like this. And my kids didnt deserve to be through that, but i really needed clothes for my youngest as we've grown out of everything and it was the only day i could find time in our schedules. I'm Shocked, offended, and to be honest Disapointed. For someone to be allowed to treat customers like this I'm grossed out. My husband finally offered to drive home because I was left in tears of rage. I've never been threatened to leave any establishment and i pride myself in our respect for people.i just cannot in good faith recommend this location knowing she still works there. I was told I couldn't speak to anyone else and that there is no manager I can speak to (they were closing within the hour that night) and that she was working all day the next day. I've reached out to the website trying to get in contact with the owner to talk about this she will be in tomorrow so hopefully then. Just really really upset and angry with this.my 8 year old was like why was she was so mean? Theres no reason so that's not okay.
Like I said I love this store and we have been coming for a while, we love supporting small businesses, but yesterday really changed my stance: (

I love this place. I found this place a couple of months ago and have been buying stuff for a while. Their prices are great compared to other resale baby shops in San Diego. I recently just started selling to them and I personally think they give good values on what you sell to them. My favorite place to shop for baby stuff by far!

Sales associates here are really condescending, so buying/selling can be uncomfortable. I prefer the Baby Exchange- Their customer service and selling policies are so much better.
