Concord Produce Market reviews
12One of the best produce stores around. Locally grown and operated. If you like great produce, this is the place! It's blueberry season. Yum!
Great produce, lots of different ethnic produce that are not easily found on your American super market. Great prices too. Customer service can use a little improvement.
This international grocery store has a very wide selection of produce that caters to South Asian, Middle Eastern as well as Latino families.
Several varieties of peppers, tomato, fruits and greens you won’t find at WF or other big grocers.
They have a small selection of Organic produce but it seems to not sell and often turns out old.
My biggest gripe is that if you don’t find the high turnover items then they’re sub-par. The management does not keep the produce looking “perfect”.
It keeps the prices low but you get a depressed feel browsing through these aisles.
Another gripe is that they’ve made the aisles narrower. It gets stuffy and crowded inside.
At the end you go there for their variety.
Awesome place for fresh vegetables, fruit and there is an extremely good fish market hidden in the back.
One of my better reasons to pay the $7 bridge toll to shop, I easily save that much by buying my produce there.
Outside has the best prices in the bay area, at least that's what I think, all of the best bargains can be found there.
The fish market in the back is well stocked with many kinds of ocean fish and some fresh water fish that I don't usually buy, there prices are very reasonable, mostly.
I always pick up the lane snapper that is often priced around $4.50 per lb, maybe more now. The guy there told me that their market price is still the same but the shipping costs have skyrocketed.
In any case, I would eat any fish from that market, though I tend to avoid tilapia and freshwater fish based on my personal tastes.
Lots of parking, great prices, friendly helpful staff and good management.
You can even get barrels of over ripe fruits and veggies to feed your pigs, sheep or goats etc.
I always shop there before paying way too much across the street at Costco.
Wanting to to the Farmers Market and overslept. Thought about this place that I pass everyday. I am in love! I found what I needed and more I wanted! Need fresh vegetables and fish? This is your spot.you will thank me later
Best place for produce but watch carefully at checkout: they often charge you for wrong items. Once paid, don't leave the store before careful matching your receipt against the shopping bag
Very home-feeling store. Lots of different kinds of veggies, fruits, a great and fresh varieties of fish. This neighborhood store in the Monument Corridor truly is a gem.
They sell cheap produce but that produce is itself is also CHEAP. Their produce is many times already gone bad rotten, has mildew and fungus when its up for sale, they are trying to cheat the people during bad times and make money by selling cheap and bad produce. I would never buy anything from their meat mkt because who knows! The other the whole bag of cucumbers were all bad within just 24 hrs of purchase they went all sticky, slimy. The cauliflower had mold inside, Another day the upo was rotten and eggplant all good outside inside all rotten. So much going to trash. No more concord produce for me.
Their cashiers are rude and lack courtesy. They also charge incorrectly and higher price than what's displayed unless you check the receipt which doesn't say items very clearly, then you go and stand in line again and point it out to them for which they aren't sorry or anything, you got to bring your produce back which they measure again and check and rudely just issue a refund. The place is small and over-crowded and parking sucks, just like their selection!
There are some nice produce items here! Typically, I find a few items that are unavailable anywhere else. Prices are usually really fair!
I love this place. Great quality, as well as "clearance" prices on some things. I get a basket FULL of food for less than $50. Not a bag - a SMALL SHOPPING BASKET - FULL!
A small crowded market. There is poor customer service at this market. Cashier required me to have a bag stated its the policy I was only buying 1 item that was already in a bag. There are long lines often. Product is low quality. You get what you pay for it isn't much.
