The LVN staff has some true staples and hard workers that work OVERTIME for their student; ones such as Ms. Baker, Ms, Adams, and especially Ms. Rayna who I’ve personally seen work tirelessly to improve aspects of the program. The LVN director is amazing and truly has student’s best interest at heart, she works with you or tries to understand your situation due to the nature of this harsh program. I’ve read other comments in regards to our director/program and I would like to say those claims are FAR FROM THE TRUTH and misinforming. The director isn’t shy of stepping up, taking accountability, has compassion and is truly committed to making our program better. No LVN program is perfect anywhere, and yes there are ones who don’t work as hard or do leave but they are also the ones’ not truly committed to the program and will be their own demise. There are consequences that are put in place, not knowing everyone’s situation- I know people who have left due to real life emergencies or for their children. Moreover, it seems as though whoever is leaving the comments in regards to “student hanging out in the halls on the phone” is spending too much time paying attention/hanging out with those students and not focused on the curriculum and being present in the classroom. This is a big issue in this school, students are always worried about someone else and how they can be better than them. I feel if you haven’t completed or graduated from this program and all you’ve done is complain to the boards about things you’re not supposed to be focused on, my suggestion is focusing harder on your studies and block out anything that distracts you! Wish you the best of luck in your endeavors.

The LPN program at this school is a complete joke imagine the Director of the program using her personal relationship with a student mother to allow one of the students to break the rules that are written in black and white. We signed a contract stating we need to complete a certain amount of hours in class, there are students who clock into class and leave the room for hours to walk the halls talking on the phone or actually leaving the school while instructors are teaching and aren’t held accountable numerous times, then come back at the end of the class clock out and enjoy the rest of their day. It is very hard talking to our director because her demeanor isn’t pleasant, if you ask questions she makes you feel like you’re asking a dumb question or indirectly insult you. The rules doesn’t apply to all students there is favoritism, it also said on our contract we are not supposed to wear nails, piercings, hair that’s not a natural color, wearing jewelry, wearing bedroom slippers, sweaters that’s not in the dress code policy. However yet students are walking around the school doing otherwise because they know our director would cover for her. Things aren’t going to change for the better in our program until these students are held accountable, this causes a lot of conflict in our class and my class has reached out to higher ups numerous times and nothing has changed

Concorde Career College San Bernardino location is the location you want to go to for Respiratory Therapy because we have an amazing program director Mr. Tacazon. He is the most hard working, kind, amazing man that cares for all of his students and make us feel like we all belong. Mr. Tacazon wants nothing but the best for his students and it shows in his work. I admire his work as the program director. I failed Fundamentals of Respiratory and I felt hopeless like this career wasn’t meant for me. But Mr. Tacazon told me that this is just a set back not the end and that there are many amazing RRTs who have failed before and to not feel embarrassed. If it wasn’t for his kind words I would have left this program 20 weeks ago. The environment at this school and in this program has been nothing but supportive. I can’t imagine a better person for the role of program director. I definitely recommend this program to anybody who wants to be a RT. I actually recommended this program to a friend from high school who wants to be an RT as well.

I am about to graduate in the Respiratory Therapy program and I just want to say that I appreciate all the instructors here and especially the program director Mr. Tacazon. Mr. Tacazon had to play 2 roles with being the director of the program and clinical director. Even having to be responsible with these 2 important jobs he still cared about his students and tried to accommodate everyone. His work here at concorde and trying to rebuild this program will not go unnoticed. I loved all the clinical sites I went to. All the instructors I had were amazing always trying to make sure we understood the material and if I struggled in an area, they made sure I had the help I needed. I would recommend my friends and family to attend concorde because this school does care about their students and want to see you succeed. I appreciate all the staff here at Concorde.

I love the support I received after graduating from the LVN program. Maritza is the best. Always cheering me on even in my small accomplishments. Furthermore, I would especially like to recognize Challa, my NCLEX tutoring coach who never gave up on me and helped me stay motivated to keep trying to get my license even when I felt like giving up. I DID IT! I may not have gotten 100% but I passed my NCLEX the FIRST TIME like you said!

Would not recommend this school. Can’t even get a call back from one of the counselors, to help get registered. Had to look into another school for the LVN program!

I had a great experience at Concorde, and had many helpful teachers. Mrs. Baker and Mr. G were the best! Once i graduated we had to do what is called the green light program and I did mine with Challa and she was such a big help, even when I got discouraged for a little while there. Thank you Concorde for making my dream of becoming a nurse come true.

As a student here I advise not to go to this school for the Respiratory Therapist class. You pay book fees for the ACLS and NRP and they don't let you keep the books. Then they don't tell you that you have to pay for the course because it's not covered. This school rips off there students and you pay unknown fee's. I don't advise this school and you are better off going to a different school. Plus for the last term which is the most important they don't even teach you and you don't go to a seminar for Kettering. They tell you good luck. This school is unprofessional and the RT director doesn't care about the students they just care about money.
GO TO A DIFFERENT SCHOOL BECAUSE YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED WITH THIS ONE. It's too late for me but I could help out future RT students.
