Conejo RV, Thousand Oaks CA

Subpar place. How long you're there depends on what mood they're in and if they're having internal conversations or not. People don't have all day to wait around. ESPECIALLY when they're paying thousands of dollars!

So I bought a new van from Conejo in April. I went to them and one other dealer in WA because of selection for the build I wanted. I ended up going with Conejo because they were so helpful and very knowledgeable on the front end - not slick or pushy like others, just genuinely helpful. They put me in the unit best suited for me. Across the board working with multiple folks in the shop, they worked as a team and carry the same culture.

The process went well. Nothing notable but fine which is all I’d expect. I’d give them a 4 or 5 here just for the experience through this point.

Then as it turns out, I had a mechanical issue after leaving the lot and 4 hours into my drive back home. It was in the drive train and a fluky Mercedes issue. Not on Conejo or the rig builder. And covered by Mercedes warranty.

Without going into details, these guys did everything right after I reached out. They gave me every option possible to resolve the problem, didn’t steer me to what was easiest for them and let me choose what was most comfortable for me. They could have made their lives much easier and focused on me instead. That in turn made my situation MUCH easier.

I’ll probably upgrade to another rig in a few years. And despite my living 17 hours away, it will only be from these folks.

Also, they made the out of state purchase a breeze. So if that’s a concern, which it was for me, don’t sweat it.

I’d give them a 10 if google would let me.

Searching on-line for a specific Class B RV that met our needs, and knowing how much we were comfortable paying - we found what we were looking for at Conejo RV in Thousand Oaks, CA. Professional and personable, it was worth the drive from Idaho! Highly recommend Conejo RV.

Super helpful and low pressure. Able to just wander lot looking and when had questions there was an in-depth answer. Very straight-forward in explaining nuances of different models and even differences within a model year. As a result of the education, we felt we made a good purchase, optimized for the things we cared about. I think pricing is fair and they listened to reasons for our offer. Happy so far.
