16WHAT IS HAPPENING WITH THE SAN FRANCISCO CONSULATE, SAN JOSÉ, CA. THERE HAVE BEEN NO APPOINTMENTS FOR MONTHS, FIRST THEY TOLD US THERE WAS NO MATERIAL TO CARRY OUT THE CONSULAR CONSULARS, NOW NOTHING, THERE ARE ONLY NO APPOINTMENTS, WE NEED THE SERVICE TO HAVE A VALID IDENTIFICATION, THEY NEED TO MAKE IMPROVEMENTS.
They only tell you to keep calling the number to find appointments but I been trying since 2019 haven't gotten one
They let people pass with companions and there are no more chairs for those of us who have some document to arrange and then they put clothes on the chairs to save places. I think that is very bad, one has to wait standing for a chair to become available.
It is ridiculous that this consulate does not have appointments available to process any document. You call the appointment number or check the website and there is never one and they don't even tell you if there are future dates available. When asked, they say that the consulate, in this case the one in San Jose CA, is the one that updates the available dates and when you go to the consulate they tell you that you have to call or make the appointment online. I asked where I can complain and they told me that for the same number of appointments, marking option 4, which I did again and there is no that option. Even dishonest in that sense which is frustrating. Maybe a strike in front of the consulate to see if they do something!

I mean, if you can call them professionals, to begin with, they wouldn't give us the appointments. We tried to make them and they blocked the accounts and then they gave us the appointment. My turn was at 12: 15 in the day and they gave like 20 appointments every 15 minutes, well, just by telling them that after my Maybe 50 more people passed by and with the news that they gave everyone their documentation and they gave me the last serious video but the security told me to delete it but don't bother I have some others and also my database Take everything back because in that case it bothers me because that is a real lack of professionalism. The truth is, I would like this to reach the hands of the heads of the Mexican consulate and they put a little order in all of this, that is why I give them a star.without aversela won. The truth is it's sad the way they treat people and we still pay for it, no, they don't give it for free
It is really unacceptable that you need to schedule an appointment and they don't have one available and they don't even know how to tell you when they can schedule it. They only tell you that there is none, period. This is something I had heard happens but had not experienced. Something should be done about this to speed up passport procedures, etc.since there are many people who need the services.

Its pretty easy to find your way there, the entrance is all the way at the back. Even with an appointment it was around 2 hours of waiting to complete the process for some documents. Security guard was nice, told us he would let us inside the building 5 minutes prior to our appointment. Its okay, it serves it purpose

Pros: All the staff, from the guards at the entrance to the person who gave us the documents, were very well behaved. They are friendly and try to help you to the best of their ability.
There is ample parking.
Cons: You have to check daily for appointments. It is not so easy to get. They told me that they have approximately 300 appointments a day but they run out very quickly.
The passport process took 3 hours from the time we entered the consulate until the document was delivered to us.
Took my parents today and they said it took a while to be help. Both persons that help them where helpful and nice to them. Their horrible experience was trying to set an appointment over the phone. The man who help them was Unprofessional and Disrespectful
