Contour Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery Center, La Quinta CA

I thought going to Contour Dermatology in La Quinta would be most efficient as they seem to do everything there. However, you can’t get in to see the doctor. I had to see a PA for an annual skin check. I believe they said the doctor only does surgical procedures. I wanted to see about getting my eyelids lifted. The receptionist assured me the PA could assist with this when I made the appointment. However, the PA, Elaine Woo, was only able to direct me to an eye doctor for an exam to check to see if my eye lids were obstructing my vision. The receptionist could have done that. Once I have the eye exam, then I can schedule a surgical consult. Not sure if that will be with an actual doctor or not. But Elaine Woo was not able to give me any information on an eye lid lift as the receptionist said she could. However, she did give me a very swift full body check before she whisked away. I was interested in getting some sun damage on my face removed, but she said she couldn’t freeze. I just needed to use over the counter products to help fade. I will see what my eye appointment results are before deciding if I want to proceed further with Contour Dermatology. It does seem to be a very nice facility and the office staff was very friendly. I was just expecting a little more direction.

I've been a patient at Contour Dermatology for more than 2 years. I'm always treated with great professional expertise and care by the entire team. Contour Dermatology is well-known for its outstanding reputation for cosmetic offerings. However, they also have people ready and able to deal with medical matters such as rosacea, sun damage, and psoriasis. Ms. Kara Crane, NP-C, is highly knowledgable, experienced, and compassionate.

Called made an appointment, they checked the insurance and all was in order. After my spouse filling out their documents online for one hour, they told me they don't take that insurance and I can pay cash. Very disappointing.

The doctors at Contour Dermatology are top-notch. The support staff and receptionists are very good as well. Dr. Jochen is a master at his craft. My husband and I have been patients at Contour for a number of years and haven’t been disappointed with any treatments. The new check-in procedure is no problem for us, but I’ve seen some patients struggle.

The staff at the office is courteous, efficient, and they listen carefully to what you have to say. It’s a pleasure dealing with a medical team that clearly shows interest in meeting your needs. It’s also appreciated to experience how the staff follows up with you to make sure that everything i out s fine. All medical offices should be managed in this same manner, what a difference that would make in the medical profession.

I adore this practice! NP Arnold is such a wonderful provider. She is thorough and efficient in keeping me healthy and my skin looking wonderful. The office staff is always extremely polite and helpful. Multiple offices throughout the valley for convenience and each one immaculately clean and professional.

I had the VI Peel percision plus with Adriana Munoz. This is my 3rd time getting this peel but my first visit with Contour Derm and Adriana. The office is clean, modern, and the staff is very helpful. Adriana Munoz is fabulous. She is very passionate about skin care and education. I appreciate that she answered all my questions and prepared me for my peel. 10/10 recommend her for all your skin care needs.

I have been seeing Dr. Jochen since 2011, first due to a small skin lesion, but one year later they found a tiny melanoma. Two appointments per year since, always first rate service, the Rancho Mirage office is just beautiful. You will like Dr Jochen.
