My boyfriend and I are big foodies. Prior to each vacation, I do extensive research to try to find the best restaurants in each city. When reading about Palm Springs, this restaurant came up again and again.so we were really excited to eat here and had high expectations.
I gave 3 stars only because our waitress and the host staff were very warm and attentive. The ambiance was romantic. The restaurant has a nice location and parking.
However, the food and drinks were so disappointing that it was almost laughable.
My boyfriend is a lover of old fashioned cocktails and believes you can judge any restaurant by their ability to make this drink. His old fashioned came out with crushed ice and A STRAW? It tasted like straight whiskey. Hes generally a timid person, and I have never seen him return a drink before. It was THAT BAD. I had a martini that tasted like straight vodka. Honestly, I've had better cocktails at the airport.
The food was just as unfortunate. My $27 roast cauliflower dish came out cold, despite the waiter warning me not to touch the dish because it was 'hot'? The waitress did offer a free dessert and an alternative drink for my boyfriend, but the damage had been done. His second drink was just as disappointing. He couldn't even drink it. Bummer!

We came to Palm Springs for a show and decided to dine at Copley’s beforehand. The place is great. Sitting outdoor is highly recommended. Their atmosphere is very relaxed. The heaters keep you warm even once the sun is down. The staff was very kind and our waiter was knowledgeable about the food. The food itself is very good. We had a few appetizers as well as their specials and everything was delicious. I highly recommend stopping by here if you’re visiting.

Really outstanding menu - hard to chose what to order! Our server helped make recommendations and was very professional.

We started with Hot blooded cooler and the pomegranate elite martini, both tasty and strong.

The chef’s bread and butter was a delicious sweet and savory corn bread selection.

The beef “welly” was a perfectly cooked deconstructed beef Wellington. The pastry was flaky, potatoes nicely done and the beef was so tender.

The ahi tuna was flavorful and the sauce was outstanding.

The Orange crème brûlée was an excellent desert.

This is an amazing restaurant in downtown Palm Springs with an interesting history- it used to be Cary Grant’s guest house!
It has a beautiful courtyard with fire pits and views of the mountains to the west.

We went to this restaurant dinner on Valentine’s Day. They had a holiday prix fixe menu with many delicious choices, including vegetarian options.
We had the lobster/crab/shrimp salad with guacamole and chips, and the Ahi tacos for appetizers. For our main course, we had the Salmon and Barramundi entrees, which were both excellent! The food was beautifully presented. The service was good, but not great. Our waiter was busy and somewhat distracted, so he didn't check on us very often. I gave it a 4 star rating for that reason. (also, i thought my pre-dinner mixed drink was a little weak- for those prices, I would have expected better)
For dessert, we had a flourless dark chocolate heart shaped cake with berry coulis and vanilla ice cream. Very yummy!
We sat by a fire pit, which was really nice as the evening got cooler.
Prices here are a little high, but it’s worth it for the experience.
Definitely take the time to make reservations! This is a hugely popular and busy restaurant and it books up quickly for almost every night of the week.
There is adequate free parking onsite, but if the lot is full, there is usually open street parking available within a block or so.
I would definitely recommend it as one of the “must make reservations” restaurants when you are visiting Palm Springs.

I will keep this short and sweet.enjoyed Copley's. Snag a table by the fire outside and you have a perfect date spot.tucked away.loved the short rib & Lobster Mac n cheese which was actually the highlight of my meal. I certainly will return for a martini and the short rib.and yes the Mac n Cheese.

We dined here last night to celebrate our friends 80th birthday and their 48 year anniversary. After being seated I mention this to the waiter and he wasn't at all impressed but I still had hopes that we would be handled according to every other high end restaurant I've celebrated special occasions at for the last 50 years all over the world. We ordered wine, appetizers, entrees and 2 desserts. I imagined there dessert would be comped.sadly there was no show of appreciation along with a rushed meal and a waiter who abruptly came to the table and blurted "Who will be paying the check! " This was while we were still finishing dessert! I'm wondering if management cares!? I will follow up

Perfection from beginning to end. Love the ambiance, the staff, and everything about this place. Our waiter was incredible and providing so many great recommendations. This place is good enough to warrant a trip back to PS - just for dinner!

Really enjoyed our dinner here. Loved the caramelized beet salad (lots of great textures), the grits that accompanied the duck breast had a great smoky flavor.

We inhaled the date and toffee sticky pudding. *chef kiss*

Very attentive service, even on a busy Friday night.

With a dear friend from LA, we celebrated 15+ years of friendship. The staff was nurturing us up to the point where you can call it spoiling (-: With a special shout-out to our waitress.
We ordered the steak and pork loin (a special of the day) as entrees and shared a salad and bread and butter to share as a starter. The food is thought through, prepared carefully and tastes amazing.
Seating is both indoor and on their courtyard patio (where we enjoyed our dinner).
I highly recommend this nice restaurant.

We were admittedly tired from flying that day, but the meal was just so-so. The setting was beautiful in the courtyard and the night was wonderful. But the waiter was a bit rusty and the courses came out like they were in a race. We hadn't finished our apps when the main courses were set down. It was an amazingly fast fine dining experience. And the food wasn't all that good.

First visit to Copley's on Palm Canyon and was thoroughly impressed. Even on a cold evening, the space heaters kept us quite comfortable and the food was unbelievable. Loved everything we had and the service was impeccable. Highly recommend for a wonderful dinner under the stars.
