Request a song from DJ Sammy and he refused. Isnt he a DJ? Expect to get disapointed. Weve paid a cover charge, and we brought people to the dance floor when the DJ was dead. We requested a song when the vibe was lit and he refused. Shouldn't this be a customer service based restaurant? Never again will we suggest friends and family to go when DJ Sammy is working. Check your credit card for unauthorized charges when you open a bar tab! I paid for my bar tab and left a cash tip at the Copper Blues Oxnard, but they charged my credit card as well. I have contacted them multiple times by leaving messages, but no one has called me back to resolve the overcharge. I have submitted a dispute with my credit card bank regarding this charge.

These crooks charged me $100 dollars on a 38 dollar bill for 2 shots because I tipped $2 like maybe if the service was better and the shots weren't so expensive and I hadn't paid an ENTRY FEE I would have tipped better. I called on repeat all day yesterday and hit them up on Facebook got no answers.

Went on sunday brunch it was a buffet. The only good things were ceviche, waffles, and popusas. The marachi was the best part but overpriced for the food. Drinks are charged separately. The waitress was gone most of the time, and it took a while to attend us for drinks. Forgot to give me a water and gave me a soda.

I would give 0 stars if I could. Do not go here they will rip you off on your credit card. I am disputing a transaction with my bank because they over charged me almost twice what they should have. They said I tipped them $68! Ridiculous! These people are liars and shady. I didn’t ask for a receipt because I didn’t think something like this would happen or I would have addressed the issue immediately. The next day I tried to settle the matter with them directly but they refused. I am more than happy and capable of paying for an honest charge, but I don’t appreciate getting ripped off. I was previously an occasional patron but will never go here again.

Update: I never received a call from the manager nor did I receive a refund, so unsurprisingly they are now lying.

Bought tickets for a boxing fight with a Mana cover band included. When we got there they told us it was only the Mana cover band and no fight. I would not have come to see them by itself as I've seen that cover band three times already. They should have let us know and given refunds

After reading the reviews I concluded that it’s a common practice for managers to favorite certain customers. If you decide to speak to the manager to make a complaint about service get ready to get 5 security guards surround you. Management is going to run this place down. Especially Tracy, she needs retraining on how to do her job.

I had a great time at Open Mic at Copper Blues at The Collection. Denise Carter hosts this every other Wednesday at 7 pm. I'm going back on April 19th!

Nice place with outdoor seating. Stopped by after a show. Enjoyed the after gathering and the fight that they were televising

Food was solid. Great flavor, nachos were decent. The old fashioned though.that took the cake. That was outstanding. Bartenders did a great job of keeping an eye on us.

Went there for the Sunday brunch. It was not too busy and there were several open tables. I picked a table and waited for someone to get my drink order. I waited over 5 minutes.one girl that worked there was on her phone and another was going around filling mimosa glasses, and walked right by me 2x and didn't say anything. I walked up to one of them while they were holding up the wall, and had to ask how I can get a drink. The buffet set up in the back room was kind of sketchy, and was only OK, definitely NOT worth $35. When I came back out with my food someone had taken my table so I had to find another spot to sit! The waitress thought I was done and took my drink that I had one sip out of.wow. Not off to a good start. I almost just walked out.

The mariachi band played one song when I first got there and then went on break for almost an hour! I paid $57.50 to be there (35 for buffet, 15 for endless mimosas, and a 7.50 modelo) I waited 50 min to hear them. I kept track of the time. They were very good but pretty lame they have a 3 hour show and only perform about half of it. On their break they were all eating. Eat before or after your 3 hour show. Lol. I understand they need a break. But an hour at a time? I heard one group ask if they were done.

Not worth the $$. Staff has no clue what they are doing. It must have been everyone's first day on their own was the impression. Waist of money. Don't go there for the buffet. Terrible service.

Neat place and can be fun! Service was rough and got worse as it was getting busy. Just not very organized that night. Band was great but sound fella struggled a lot to manage it well. They could have opened up the dance floor more or put it closer to the stage. People danced and made it even harder for the servers. Food was ok. Not great but not terrible either. Managers were trying to make up for the mistakes for servers or kitchen on many tables. Overall it has the potential for a fun place with live entertainment.

Good drinks! We went to see Pull The Trigger. We loved them! The food was just average bar food. Will definitely go back. Good Management and Security!

BAD EXPERIENCE! TROY As a MANAGER HAS favoritism towards certain customers!
My friend I went to brunch got seated and when we came back our table was taken by another party I spoke to the hostess and sat us on another table mind you we had our plates with our food about to take our first bite when another hostess comes and tell me we can’t sit on that table because some one else was seated there so I explain to her Jennifer sat us there and I asked to speak to the manager TROY! He would not go to my table and asked to meet him up in the front! So I did he gave me my money back not once did he bother to apologize nor to try to accommodate us on another table BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE! Cooper blues step it up with you management and organization! MIND YOU THIS IS THE SECOND TIME THIS HAPPENS! Never again!

Great show and the worst service on the planet. Wanna drink? It’s gonna take you 45 minutes and it’s because the staff has no idea what they’re doing

It was my first time there. I went with my homegirl and we ordered some drinks and dad's by the fire pit. Love the scenery and the prices weren't that bad.
