Took a class there and didn't get to my zen state, because it seemed like they had a lot of neglected (unwatered) plants on their patio? I thought the yogi lifestyle, wouldn't just allow plants to die in the heat of the sun if they are potted. But the important lesson I learned was, humans can't wait for "rain" to take care of the things we obligated ourselves to take care of.

Core Power Yoga in Hillcrest is my home studio. It is small - one studio, small changing space - and often crowded, giving it a level of unsurpassed coziness and community. I feel welcome and supported at this little studio and it is one of the hubs of my life. In addition, the quality of the actual practice is very high. The instructors who teach the classes I am able to take - Joanne, Heidi, Noelle, Forrest, Nikki, my dear Luciana, Amelie, Christy - are absolutely superb, each offering unique, challenging, expert classes laced with supportive commentary, yoga wisdom, humor, kindness, and enthusiastic encouragement. I consider myself very fortunate to be part of the Hillcrest Core Power community.

Everything was great! Location was clean & lovely, front desk help was kind & the teacher was great. Really enjoyed & definitely coming back!

Colleen MC is my favorite teacher at Core Power. She has a great energy about her, and she challenges you in every class. The music and the atmosphere she provides are top notch. I wish she taught more classes, but I understand that this is not her full time gig. Core Power is lucky to have her.

Forrest was a fantastic teacher. I loved his C2 sequence. I practice and live in Scottsdale so it was really neat experiencing a new state and studio and teacher. I wish I lived in Hillcrest so I could take classes there again! Couldn’t have asked for a better more challenging class - it was a perfect hour on my mat. Thank you!

It was very fun and the teacher was nice and the atmosphere was non judging and I overall liked the class and it was great to do this. I’ve never done yoga in my life and this c2 candlelight class made me fall in love with it. I will definitely recommend to friends and family. I will sure be coming back regularly.

Over the years, I have tried all sorts of exercise and wellness regimes. My goal was to lose weight and nothing, no matter what I tried, helped me. In addition, I found the sheer repetitiveness (especially in other yoga classed I tried) of each routine so boring that, eventually, I just moved on. All of that changed when I found Core Power. Not only did I lose weight, but I found that each teacher added their own twist, their own creativity, their own style to each class, preventing classes from becoming routine or boring. I know that on any given day, I can choose a teacher to fit my moods and needs, or I can be surprised by trying a new teacher. I cannot tell you how important this is to me and to so many of the people I know in the community. It keeps my practice fresh and I am challenged everyday. Thank you, Core Power, for given your trusted and certified teacher the freedom to design their own routines, play their own music, and inspire their classes!
