Palm sway IPA - top notch, pub pretzel with 3 sauces - dynamite, jumbalya pasta - great, pesto pasta - excellent. Service was attentive - amazing experience.

Great beer with over 9 different IPAs on the menu. Surprised the reviews are not higher because I am picky. Had some great fresh local Sea Bass tacos that day also. A little pricey maybe but such a cute space and good service. Not to mention the only thing around. Worth the ferry trip over if you are downtown. Back again 7 years later still the same deal which is good and bad good place.

Super over rated and really disappointing. We ordered the coconut calamari, needless to say the calamari was something out of a groceries freezer section. Hard, no flavor and poor taste in presentation. Our drinks were terrible, they clearly do not understand what an alnord Palmer is. Flavor less and filled with ice to the brim, however the beer was excellent. PS do not order a SELTZER! It was really bad. For our entrées we ordered the ahi sandwich, the salmon, and a pub burger done (medium rare). The burger was completely charred and burnt making it into a medium well done consistency, with ZERO salt added. Ahi was dry and flavorless… the SALMON was the only redeeming item we ordered, was cooked very well with a pleasant garlic lemon butter.

Overall the only good thing here is the beer and that’s about it…

Regulars here due to being residents of the island the last time we were there the food wasn't nearly as good as usual we thought it was just a hiccup today it was even worse way worse cold food runny sauce no flavor.
Place is really going downhill

Spinach artichoke dip was so yummy, and so was the coconut crusted calamari. Fish tacos were amazing! Diablo pasta with chicken had the best flavor, not too spicy just flavorful. And of course, the beer! All were great! Definitely a great place for food and drinks.

First of all, this place claims to be dog friendly. They have a whopping *3 tiny tables* on a stuffy patio staring at the street that claim to be dog friendly.
Secondly, the hostesses are absurdly abhorrent at estimating time, and then expect you to be at their beck and call when they grossly overestimate the wait for your table. This has happened to me on multiple occasions beyond tonight. The first time this happened, the hostess let me know it would be 45-60 minutes for an outside so we left to wander around while we waited, and got a message 10 minutes later that our table was ready, so frantically ran back. Tonight we were told a 30 minute wait, wasn’t even remotely accurate, and the same situation occurred. I’m unclear why it’s so difficult for the staff to accurately estimate wait times? I understand humans are unpredictable but this happens every.single.time (and it’s only at this location?). Like consistently being half an hour off is…ridiculous, to say the least. Are you intentionally trying to discourage customers?
Further, when I sped back from the beach to claim my table, the snarky hostess gave me a lecture about how she already sent a text and gave the table away. Our phones said the message arrived 6 minutes ago, she claimed she sent it 30 minutes ago (after we were told a 30 minute wait?) Weeeeeird how time works. We’ve had it with this location and won’t be back. Head down the The Henry, instead, where they are actually pet friendly and don’t seem to have nearly as much trouble estimating wait times.

Food was 4 stars. Get those fish tacos. Pricing was out of hand for what you get. Fun, chill atmosphere and an excellent place for a break.

Great service here and good, local beer.plenty of options of choices on the beer. It's really fun! I love taking people here to experience a Coronado restaurant because the food is good and the beer is local!

Excellent restaurant specializing in burgers, sandwiches, and pasta. We ate here both nights at our stay in Coronado and ordered the Mermaid's bbq burger and Serrano bacon burger. Both were delicious. We also tried the fish and chips and it was fantastic as well. I highly recommend checking this place out while visiting Coronado Island.

I went to a trip to Coronado Island a couple times and every time we visit we have to go to this place. The beer and food are amazing. The service has always been nice and friendly as well. Highly recommend

Beer was good, service was good, honestly the vibe though was not what we expected for a brewery. It kind of felt like a Perkins inside. Didn’t go very well with the atmosphere of the island

Service at the bar was friendly and excellent. Got a flight of beer and fish and chips. All four beers (salty crew, mango farm, margose and never better) were excellent. I was very pleasantly surprised by how good the fish and chips was. Will definitely visit again!

Beer and atmosphere were good, however food was mediocre at best. To be more be more specific food was bland lacking any hint of natural flavor even the odd spice. Go by to have a beer but eat elsewhere!

Pretty cool hang out, but fairly loud and crowded. However, there are a lot of options on tap and the staff is very attentive

Very nice place. Been here a couple times and the food and brews are great. Top that with a laid back atmosphere and this place is definitely a must go.

Awesome place! We sat at the bar and Tim was a great bartender. He was very knowledgeable on all of their offerings and a great host. We had a couple of flights to taste their different beers and ciders and everything was good, it was hard to choose one favorite. The prices were very reasonable and their to go options are also a good deal. Tim even let us know what the best bang for out buck would be for the to go options. We were just going to do a tasting but were so confortable we decided to hang out and have a pint as well. With that we ordered the Nachos Borrachos which were very good and a great size for two to share. Other items we saw come out from the kitchen also looked good so we will definitely be coming back when we are in the area!
