Coronado Ferry Center reviews
20Beautiful place, long promenade, nice views of the city, you can rent a bike, mice shops and restaurants. A very nice park with playground.
I absolutely adore the ferry boat. It takes you from Coronado to the Convention Center. Its so much fun to watch the water and city scape as you cross. The staff are friendly and the price is right. $7 each way. I love the pedestrian culture. Walking from the hotel. Ferry boat across. Walk all over the convention center and the Gas Light District. Then back on the boat to return to the hotel. Maybe get some souvenirs. I also recommend the Coronado Brewing Co.
I have been to San diego many times but this was a suprise. Its a pretty lil place with a beautiful view of the city. It has a beautiful pier. Can get a ferry ride to the downtown from here. I also luckily visited during the boat parade so that was a plus.
I love the vibe and the atmosphere. Lots of places to eat, coffee shops, places to picnic and the best is walking pathway all the way to Glorietta Park. You get a beautiful view of downtown San Diego skyline. It's much beautiful at night with the colorful lights of the city reflecting on the bay.
Great way to see both Coronado and San Diego from the water cheaply. Tickets one way are $7. Ferry leaves Coronado boardwalk and goes to Broadway Boardwalk near the USS museum.
A very cool place to take a walk, grab a bite to eat, and just enjoy the gloriousness of life down in the southwest corner of our fair nation. There are a number of great dining spots, from casual to the more upscale. The views of the San Diego city skyline are unsurpassed. Parking is decent and it is a great place for visitors.
The band set up and played in the grass on the boardwalk just to the side of the pier. So fun to see people dancing in the streets. So many places to chose from to eat with great food and fun little shops to buy clothes and accessories the Coronado Ferry Landing is a day trip worth making. Bands don't play every day but the food and shopping is always there. And.there is no more beautifully scenic a spot than Coronado by the bay.
Rode my bike we all the way around Coronado Bay and had to take the ferry back. It was like 7 dollars or something for a 5 min ride.almost wasn't able to get on cause I forgot my mask but another passenger gave w one to me. So it all worked out. They were very professional, prompt, quick. And polite. 5 stars.
You have to ride the ferry if you haven't done so yet. Such a great view and you could get a surprise visit by some dolphins like we did!
It was far better than swimming across the busy channel. The skippers are very capable and somehow avoid collisions with unaware tourists on jetskis. I brought my bicycle on the crossing for no extra charge.
Took the ferry to Coronado Island and back. They had many trips throughout the day and able to bring bikes on board. The ship pilot was a little pushy when we boarded, yanked my tickets from my hand along with my return tickets. Had to confront him on what he did, got the return tickets back, yet we the people are his paycheck. He needs to respect each and every point customer. So because of that, they will recieve 1 star rating.
TREAT YOUR CUSTOMER QITH RESPECT EACH AND EVERY TIME.
Lots of shopping options. A small area. You will have to walk a out 1-1.5 miles to get to downtown Coronado for more shopping options and beach.
I love this place! Free concerts every Saturday and Sunday from 2-5 PM. Great music, amazing views. Bring a chair, and kick back on the lawn. Bring your dancing shoes too!
Beautiful views of San Diego downtown and the Coronado Bay Bridge take a stroll or bike ride they also have a renting 6 seater bikes
It's so much fun there beautiful sunshine and great places to eat bring your wife or girlfriend can't go wrong.you'll get lots of kisses.
This is "A MUST" visit place in San Diego. You'll get to see the San Diego Skyline and buildings. I love all the buildings in there. Clean, quiet, relaxing, and elegant city. I didn't see any homeless person here.
Easy to buy tickets.online or digital kiosk. Leaves from Coronado on the half hour. Timely.clean.mask mandate in place as of 9/18/21 but people removed masks after entering and no on checked. Frustrating for those following the rules.
The Coronado Ferry was a great experience. There are several good places to eat and cute little shops. The view of downtown and San Diego bay is amazing. Enjoy.
This was a nice treat. You can take pictures. Enjoy the scenery and get some sunshine
We loved it. The staff was very curious and nice. Do not forget your masks
Always fun to play "Tourist" in San Diego. The Ferry Ride is smooth and the staff is friendly. Easy to buy tickets to ride the Ferry. It leaves from Coronado every 1/2 hour on the hour. And from San Diego, every hour on the hour. Price has gone up to $6 each way.no senior discount. It offers breath-taking views of the beautiful San Diego Bay. Highly recommended.
