After years of bad haircuts I finally found July. She has an amazing talent for bringing out peoples natural beauty. And she is FUN! Her studio is super cute ~ great art vibes. And it’s right next to Zeitgeist which is also a huge plus. I definitely recommend July she has an incredible eye for detail and takes her time. Thank you!

July works wonders on short hair. A haircut with her a therapeutic and genuinely pleasant experience. She works with you on what styles work best for your hair type (no matter how pesky the cowlicks). The best part though is giving her the chance to be creative. I entirely trust July with trying new styles - the result is always fantastic.

AfterJuly's virtual haircut was AMAZING! She actually used mannequin head hair to show my friend how to cut my own hair. Very attentive to detail and certainly worth the value. Can't wait until next time!

July is great! Always get a good cut, but more importantly I just enjoy hanging out in her space. Good vibes. I walk out feeling relaxed and clear in a way I rarely do elsewhere.

Definitely the best color and cut I've ever had! What I think sets July apart from all the other great barbers I've seen in the past is July's creativity & willingness to think outside the box, how much she cares about giving you a cut that fits you, and of course her empathy and personality.

She bleached and toned my hair to perfection. She sent me home with instructions and all of the right conditioners, shampoos and styling pastes for my hair so I could take care of it well and keep it looking good until I saw her next. It's a whole experience, not just a cut.

I let her have free reign and trust her! Wouldn't do that with anyone. Lots of oohs and aahs from co-workers who now expect my hair to keep changing all the time. I feel like I have hair I really love now, which is pretty special. 100% would recommend!

It’s hard to find a stylist reliable and inviting enough to go to regularly. She specializes in short hair so she’s super detail oriented and methodical. I also trust her to make recommendations and take creative control since she knows how to change it up and still keep things understated.

Also worth noting that she also provides complimentary drinks like beer and cider plus a hot towel at the end. I know she has other higher tier services as well.

I’ve been coming to July for three years, and will never see another barber for as long as I live in the bay (except for that one time when I needed a last minute cut and she was out of town, but I’ve already apologized profusely for it).

July is awesome. I have been getting my haircut by her for the past few years and she is definitely the best stylist I have seen. She nails it every time and offers helpful suggestions of how to style my hair at home. 10/10 would recommend.

July is simply magical. I really don’t know how else to put this. Generally my friends or myself do all of my bleaching, coloring, etc and that’s how it’s been since I was in high school. I’ve never really had the urge to go into a place and get it done since I’ve always just done it myself. I figure why pay the extra money?

Well, I found out why. July is so kind, funny, energetic and she takes such great care of you. My scalp and hair have never felt more healthy after a few bleaching sessions and I have never felt more beautiful.

When I walked in I said "Give me a zero fade, and the rest is up to you. " From then on it was like watching someone at play, having fun, doing what was natural. In the end, July gave me a cut that naturally fit my face and head. Could not be more pleased!

July's on top of her stuff and everything about my experience with AfterJuly is very comfortable, from the booking to the salon space to the haircut. I love that I was able to show up for my second cut and she just knew what to do.

July has been cutting my hair for almost two years now. She is both an amazing hairstylist and an amazing person! Every time she's cut my hair I've left extremely satisfied and I couldn't imagine getting my hair done anywhere else now. She cares a lot about her clients and will tend to your needs to help you look the way you want to look.

July is amazing at what she does! I came out of my first visit with a hairstyle that was a combination of the look and style I personally wanted and what she saw was a fit for me based on my hair type and lifestyle. When you get a haircut with July, remember that you don't get to leave until your hair is perfect. July makes sure that my hair is in perfect shape before I was allowed to get up from the chair. What I also love about July is that when my hair grows out, it keeps the shape. I've been to so many places where my hair only looks good for a few days, then it turned into a mess. Love this lady!
