Costco Food Court, Santee CA

Been getting pizzas from Costco all the time, but this the first time we got the pizza (half cheese half pepperoni) with so little cheese on it (6/29/21). So disappointed.

Greasy pizza and over salted at Costco food court in Santee. Used to eat there but after Today’s visit I’m not willing to try it any more. Costco has to improve his food court instead of selling just a greasy food?

It is 4: 30 on a Saturday and absolutely no one is answering their phone at Costco. This is so ridiculous your customer service blows.

The $10 Pepperoni pizza is beyond good and the best price. Juicy and greasy like a NY pizza. It's beyond delicious! Just order a large ahead of time because you will wait if you go and order right away. So good!

Only 2 hot dog 15 minutes.

I love this place because it's the only Costco with self serve pay machines. I ordered ahead of time and without the self serve pay machines, I would have to wait in the long line to pay for my order. Some locations do let me cut in front but I wasn't sure if this location does

The new kiosk system has everyone confused and people were waiting so long they were asking for refunds. Plus they now require a Costco card in the food court now, but don't have it posted anywhere.

This rating is for this particular food court itself, not Costco food. The food at any Costco is pretty much the same and would be around 3 stars wherever you go. This is my first time frequenting this location in a few years.

Unless you utilize their new kiosk (card only, sometimes functional), anticipate a 30-40 minute wait as they choose on their busiest of days, the Saturday afternoon throng, to have only one window open for patrons who wish to avoid the kiosk for whatever reason (order mixup, not having a card, needing personal help, etc).

Amusingly enough, they have signs that say cash only by their one serviceable window but they have card readers outside that are fully functional (I noticed a person using it in line as they didn't have cash).

I recommend (and ended up using) the kiosk but if someone takes your order in error or they otherwise miss it, good luck waiting in a line after all trying to resolve it.

Whoever came up with the idea to just will call you order is a genius, what better way to get service than pay for your food and have someone call your number out. I love Costco food court food, its always fresh anytime you are here. Best Store Ever, I cant wait to return! Hot Dogs and Pizza, The Best Ever Chicken Hot Pocket!

Only have one cashier to take orders and trying to force everyone to self serve cash register. I'd use the self serve if there was a discount for what I purchase since they dont have to pay a person to help me, but until then I'd much rather have someone keep their job to take my order.

Place your pizza order well in advance and be prepared to wait. Also, get a confirmation that they both have the order placed and confirm when it will be done.

Do not place a pizza order at the kiosk. It will be lost and you will not put it by their team. This may be unique to Friday nights, but just a heads up.

You won't find a better pizza for the price.but trying to pick up your pizza on a weeknight, let alone a weekend will be one of the more painful shopping experiences you'll ever have.

There is no line, no order, and no instruction. Just an increasingly irate crowd all trying to go at the same time coupled with increasingly irate employees choosing to just avoid the window.

LOVE Costco's cheap lunch items at food court. People watching is also good here. Ive been buying my high performance radial tires from Costco for many years. They give free tire rotation & filling tires.

They got rid if the chocolate ice cream because it "wasn't popular" but I never saw anyone get just vanilla, only chocolate, swirl, and the berry one (which you had to get with vanilla, you didn't get a choice). I have a feeling that, just like all the other good stuff Costco has ditched over the years, they couldn't get the seller of the mix to go down any further on the price, and they wanted to get it cheaper and cheaper every year, so they just got rid of it and replaced it with something cheaper, acai bowls

Pizza is still a good deal and good for now.

Hotdogs are good, but the got rid of the Polish dogs too, and that's disappointing as well.

They keep trading things that are good, like the chocolate ice cream and polish dogs, for stuff that isn't, like the beef sandwiches and ham wraps or whatever it is. I'd get a pizza here since they are still pretty good, and a better price than anywhere else, but overall I've stopped liking the food court after all the changes.

P. S. Acai bowls, at least the ones they serve here, are NOT healthy for you, don't be fooled.

Pizza is delicious and affordable. The churros were too hard but everything else I've had here has been really good.

Love this place. Been coming here for years. Wish they hadn't done away with the polish dogs, as that was my go-to. Sometimes the line gets pretty long and the wait can be around 10 minutes - not a huge deal when the weather is fine.
