Costco Gasoline, San Diego CA

This one of the BUSIEST gas stations in this area, with good reason:
The prices can't be beaten anywhere.
Choose your line carefully as wait times to get to a pump can range from 10 to 30 minutes.
The gas lines will easily stretch to either side of you car so take that into consideration when choosing an island.

The lines are very long and of they were open 24 hours a day they would sell gas 23 hours non stop. What people will do to save $4 to 7 bucks and drive out of their way just to spend time in a very long line, unless you get there as they open at 5am.

Generally speaking they have the best prices around. It gets quite busy here, with a 10 min wait pretty usual. Therefore I'd suggest going earlier in the morning if you can. I can usually get to a pump within a couple mins when I go around 7 or 8 am. Also worth keeping in mind that you can only use your Visa cards here. Otherwise you really can't beat the quality of the gas you get for the price.

Yes, there are some crowds, but the gas is at least 25c cheaper per gallon. I don't mind waiting for that!

This is the WORSE COSTCO Gas Station in San Diego County.

Bad location & Bad Layout.

Great prices on gas. Lines can get a little daunting but they move fast.

Try to go towards the right. The way the lot is shaped, less cars tend to feed into the lanes on the right.

Also the hoses are long, so you can fill from either side of your car easily.

Cheap gas, nice clean facility, lines can be long but easy enough to get in and out of even during the busiest times. Oh and cheap gas.

I always try to wait and get my gas at night time. If I have to go during the day it's usually just a 10 min.wait. Remember to turn off your cars engine while you wait, It will help save your gas. Also, because I have arthritis in my fingers the service people are more then happy to help me pump my gas.

Usually quite crowded, but usually worth the wait for the cheaper prices. The shell next door is consistently $0.20-$. 40 more expensive per gallon!

There's always a big line but it seems to go real quick. The first two lanes only have two pumps and the other six lanes have three pumps so remember that when you get in the long line.

$2.59 as of today which was pretty good. Filled up my tank for just under $30. Lines are about 4-6 cars out so expect a little delay but it's Costco:)

Really good gas prices! Try to come super late or early so you don't have to wait in long lines to get gas.

Very very exclusive gasoline for members only. 20-30 cents cheaper than anywhere else. 8 pumps here but always a wait.

This service station is always packed. Good prices, but expect a minimum of 10 minute wait to get to the pump.

Looking forward to improved gas pump area, being renovated/updated. Previously always a long wait /lines to the corner, with poor line control/ people blocking access to other pump lines, kind of a mess organizationally. Hoping is improved. Need better egress and entrance not to mention more pumps in general.
Will re- review after the upgrades early May 2017.
No diesel at most costco gas, or any that I know of.
