4If I could give 0 stars i would. Dr. Teal discriminates against non-English speakers. She told the front desk person “we’re not taking patients who don’t speak English. ” This was after helping an elderly Spanish speaking woman. I was absolutely disgusted with her behavior of denying basic and affordable healthcare to non-English speakers. People come to this place because it is inexpensive and because they do not have insurance! She even acknowledged that but then is so quick to deny these people service! That’s just not right at all and she needs to be reported. Then she complained about taking a longer time than usual helping the elderly Spanish speaking woman. She said all of this while the patients were still in the office. So disappointed and unprofessional on a DOCTORS part. She needs to change her behavior and attitude. Her job is to help people- not turn people away. That is why they are there to offer ALL PEOPLE service. DON’T DISCRIMINATE COSTCO!
I went to visit many Costco optical in the Bay area and Costco Optical in Novato is the best one by far.
The staff are great and always helpful. Stand out for Wendy and Stephan who always goes above and beyond to serve us. Truly exceptional service.
All the staff in the optical are so friendly and accommodating whenever we need something and it's very pleasant and truly exceptional service.
Not surprised to see other complaints about the staff, nothing else to say
Absolutely the worst optometry department in Costco history. Even after you speak to a manager for the rude and patronizing attitude they give you, nothing changes. It took 6 attempts to get a pair of glasses that were my correct prescription. Even after explaining the problem in agonizing detail. One time would have been enough. Obviously they don't like it when you complain about the total incompetence they display. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. It's not worth the degradation to your brain dealing with any of them. Rather than fix the problem they will gladly give you a refund just to get rid of you. Pretty much the most disgusting customer service experience of my life. The managers that run the store ain't much better. Unfortunately. PASS!
