Costco Optical Vision Center

I just wanted to recognize Leo for the amazing work that she is doing in the optometry department. My optometrist had double charged me and my insurance, which I thought was odd, but just complied with. Leo noticed something was wrong, however, and advised me to call to clear things up. She waited patiently for almost two hours, checking on me, and helping me sort out this mess. In the end, she not only saved me money, but also saved me from being taken advantaged of. Thank you for your kindness and patience Leo!

Ashley & Her Team ROCK! Was helped in record time & on a busy Friday nonetheless. Kept spotting designer frames at a fraction of the cost of anywhere else I have shopped for my astigmatism. Walked out with three frames, two ordered with my prescription (80$ single vision lenses.whaaaaat?). Highly recommend.

When I visited a Friday evening, I felt that the staff who helped me was impatient and didn’t understand my adjustment request. However, the manager has kindly reached out to me to understand the feedback and helped resolved the issue. I think that’s what matters and hence a 5 star.

If u want to wait 5 months to seen.they don't care about you and nobody will see you in a time frame that is useful.

Had a good experience here. Ended up spending a pretty penny on a pair of glasses. The staff was always helpful and friendly. Can get busy.

UPDATE: Costco did reach out to reschedule, they were very apologetic and helpful.
This place is like Disneyland on Sunday, I couldn’t even get in the parking lot. 12 minutes late for my appointment, now 440 they turned me away because they take their last appointment 30 minutes before close (5pm) and they weren’t going to be there a minute past 5 pm. Maybe appointment should end at 4pm? Just a suggestion.

Very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful people who work here. Went twice and both times I had a great experience. First the lady who helped me was very patient with an insurance issue and was really helpful. Next time the guy who helped me was really knowledgeable and even told me about a procedure that could help my eyes long term.

I’d like to take the time to share my experience with Costco optical. I experienced an issue with terms that have not been clearly specified to me when I ordered replacement for my lenses. After a couple days, they called me to let me know that they were not able to replace my lenses as the brand of my glasses was not covered by their repair center. So I had to come back and pick up my glasses but at that point, they had scrapped the lenses so I was very unhappy and I asked for a manager. Tom, the manager came to see me and listen to my issue and made the necessary arrangements for me to be satisfied after the disagreement I had with the experience. He took care of my issue quick and nicely. That’s an example of 5 stars customer service. Linda

If you see what time it is and what number I pulled, you’ll see I was 3 away and antsy to get out of Costco. So, I started timing it and only had to wait 7-8 mins to get help.

The lady was very kind and helpful and it was definitely 5 star service. I should have tried the sunglasses on before I left, but because of Costco policy, I can return it as long as they’re not scratched. I barely touched them and they unfortunately were too small for my big head. Lol

Best quality lenses & frames at the best prices (in classic Costco fashion). But, the best part, was the amazing experience Jesus & manager Tom gave me. They answered all of my questions, Tom was full of really great & honest knowledge about lenses and frames, and Jesus was my fashion advisor in helping me find the perfect frame! Thank you, Costco Optical Center.

I had many questions for the ladies behind the counter and I got all of them answered politely and with much information. They have everything I need with much lower prices WITHOUT NEEDING INSURANCE than what I was spending at OTHER optical places that I was actually using my private insurance for, but spending so much out-of-pocket money, too! I will be back with my hubby AND kids in tow.

I visited Marina Del Ray Costco Center in LA. I have had the worst experience with Costco's optical vision center.
I ordered a prescription glasses with the prescription in hand.
The staff took 5 days before handing me the frame
1. WITHOUT prescription lenses because you know they themselves CAN'T read!
2. With the cheap print on the lenses
3. I tried to take off the cheap print (which wouldn't come off simple acetone method) which ideally SHOULD NOT have been there on the lenses at first place
4. When I tried to return the glasses, the manager took off! Because what better way than to run off from your duties. Because you know that's what they get paid for.
5. They charged me extra for frame plus lenses and never returned the lenses' cost.
6. And oh, if you have extra time and want to know how irresponsible and irresponsive customer service is, visit Costco Optical Vision Center!

Great service! Tom has been especially helpful to me many times and really went out of his way to help me with a special situation recently. All staff here are helpful, and frame selection and prices are great.
