This particular Costco Pharmacy has one of the best overall teams "behind the counter. " Everything from helping understand your prescriptions to guidance on your necessary vaccines. They told me they had a medication in stock and lied to me about it. I had my doctor send the prescription and everytime I called back they said no prescriptions were sent. When I called my doctor back they said they sent the prescription. Finally someone said "oh that has been on back order"

Costco as a corporation has a contract and an obligation to GoodRx. I lost my inhaler so I had to pay for one cash and thought I’d use that. First they told me that because the volume of active ingredient was 108mcg and didn’t match the 90mcg that everyone else uses it doesn’t work. However its actually active chemical albuterol sulfate was listed as 108mcg/ equivalent to 90mcg albuterol they just manually edit the label. Then they told me the corporate has put a cut off on certain medications.

Pharmacies get bonus on how much they make in profit is why they are doing this. So I called GoodRx who said they will be in contact with Lisa Nguyen the pharmacy manager and Monday I will be calling the corporate office. This is price manipulation, and they are lying which is probably some kind of fraud. Also contacting the California board of pharmacy. These individual pharmacies don’t get to make decisions like this.

Pharmacy manager only cares about going home and not customer service. Get there 5 minutes b4 closing and she will turn you away. I can tell she is not a very well liked person.

They may not always be the quickest, but the entire team is super kind and motivated. And their coupon prices are usually unbeatable.
