Costco Pharmacy, San Francisco CA

Often rude, don’t explain why they aren’t able to help with prescriptions sent in. If they do explain, it’s condescending and expect you to understand medical terminology.

They are always super helpful at this Costco pharmacy. Johnny the cashier appears gruff, but always goes out of his way to work with the pharmacist (who is also super nice) to make sure my important prescriptions get filled before I leave the store.

Cheapest prescriptions in town. They can be slow, but as I said-cheapest prescriptions in town.

It's not really a full service pharmacy. They outsource to an off-site fulfillment center. This is merely a pickup site for nearly everything. If you need something in a hurry this is not the answer. It's the first Costco service I haven't enjoyed and will transfer my Rx elsewhere. Per the staff there every local Costco is the same. While you can decline that service it may slow down the processing even further. Weird.

The pharmacists denied me, a 17 year old, levongestrel emergency contraception which is not only against the law but extremely harmful.do not shop here or support this ideology

Waited 10 minutes for an "escort" to the pharmacy, and then another 20 while they re-entered the health insurance info.

Not worth the hassle IMO.
