Talk about slow, and like the previous reviewer said they will sometimes skip filling or getting in stock a med that they say will be ready. Some 3 or 4 days to get a generic in stock. They def won't bother to call you if there is a delay, they will wait until you have wasted your time driving there and waiting in line to tell you oops too bad for you, come back tomorrow. Call them the next day, they say come back tomorrow.

First of all, I should say that every OTHER Costco I've ever used has been great. Always. Every time. But not this one.

I've had a number of problems getting meds at the Sacramento Costco pharmacy on Stockton Blvd over the last three years since I moved to Sacramento, but today was the final straw.

I left a blood pressure prescription there on a Saturday and was told it would be ready on Monday. So far, fine.

No one called in Monday, so on Tuesday I went to pick up the medication. The meds were not ready.

The Pharmacist told me that she thought the blood pressure prescription (that, obviously, a doctor had given me), while within normal dosing, "seemed kinda high" to her. So instead of filling the med, or calling to tell me she hadn't, she simply did nothing.

She told me she would call my doctor and, after she had spoken to him, she would call me and let me know when I could actually get the medication.

I shopped for about an hour, then went back to the pharmacy to see if there was any progress. There had not been.

When I talked to the Pharmacist, I got the distinct sense that she really couldn't have cared less whether I got the meds I needed today or a year from now.

Enough. I took the prescription slip back from in order to try to get it filled somewhere else. When they gave it back to me, the prescription was sitting in a basket by itself, clearly no one had done anything whatsoever to try to fill the medication which I needed.

I'll go back to that Costco (and even other Costco pharmacies), but no, I'll definitely be looking for someplace else to fill my meds.
