Costco Tire Center, Irvine CA

Not the best looking or Costco Tire Center in CA.but the service department is great. My Service Advisor explained and noticed things about my car that Costco Tire Center did not.

I was in this Costco tire center 3/15/2021 at 0630, the cashier was very rude and unhelpful at all. I wanted to buy battery for my car by my reword certificate and after waited for my turn and prepare work papers, he told me he didn't has cash and I have to bill my rewords from other building cashier.it was very weird answer and was shocked and thought I am not costco.because this is his job and not me.after I got the cash and came back again, I waited for him to pay the battery but he ignored me so I asked him I have to wait for the line and my invoice is already ready and despite I did what he has to do, he answered yes and asked him again whole the line he said yes with badly manner. I said thank you and left.it never happen for me with Costco customer service. I was very disappointed and a such rude Costco Irvine tire center cashier.

Bought a new set of tires here, and my car was vibrating so bad when test driving. Took my car in for a rebalance, but only got a little better. Finally I had to take my car somewhere else for a tire balance. And they took care of my car! I wouldn’t trust them again for tire installation!

Employees were rude and unhelpful. I looked up American Tires and they were cheaper and way more helpful.

Waiting took me much longer than usual despite an existing and previously at the center arranged appointment. Satisfactory service. I hope next time it will work more convenient.

This Place is REALLY SLOW with sub-par service. They'll tell you they'll call once your car is done then never do. If they are taking really long (more than an hour), it's best to ask them as they probably forgot about you.

The other Costco's are much better, I recommend going to others.

Don't come here unless price is your only objective and you don't mind waiting 2-3 hours for a simple tire rotation.

Also the Costco tire warranty is not as great as it seems. They have many exceptions that makes it very rare to actually use the warranty

I will say the manager is really good and nice here though

Workers take there time playing around talking. Also lie and say the work will take 1 hour when I have a reservation. But I been waiting 3 hours.what’s the point of making a reservation. DONT COME HERE. Go to another cosco this is NONESENSE.

They include free flat repair with tire purchases, but wont take care of you in a timely manner. I drove my car carefully there with 50% air left.they told me it could be over five hours to be helped - Stuck at the end of the appointment list. Thanks for nothing Costco. This is a 20 minute job! If you say you do flat fixing, but don't have a way to facilitate it outside of your installation schedule, you're a fraud.

I get that it's frustrating to wait (like some people are complaining about) but I think they do a great job here. These guys are working hard all day long and I wouldn't expect them to be running around frantically trying to keep up with the flow of customers. No one should work like that and it'd just cause accidents and mistakes. They've Done great work on my cars and are careful to not go ahead with expenses unless they’ve confirmed with me. I highly recommend

It took 1 and a half hours with an appointment to get a tire rotation. Same price, faster service at American Tires. I regret I have to do this again until I need new tires.

Hit and miss with the service here. If you get lucky they can get you in and out quickly, but usually very crowded and fill up first thing in the morning.

It’s extremely difficult to get service via phone or in person. I needed a tire similar to one they sold me last year that had been discontinued, so after having to appear in person (they don’t answer the phone) they located one at the Tustin location. The Tustin location also wouldn’t answer their call, so they told me to “try my luck and appear there in person” and cut me loose. They didn’t have any way of obtaining a tire from a different store, and/or a way for me to pay for that tire and head there. My advice is to be careful and don’t rely on them if you’re in a pinch.

Went in cuz I had low air pressure light on, and they put some air in my tires for me so quicky!

So selling point of buying here is good price and lifetime balance and rotate. And now you can make an appointment, but wait appointments are booked over 2 weeks out. So you go before it opens and there is already a line of 8 in front of you. You just want a balance and rotate on the tires you already purchased from here sometime ago.shouldn't take long right. WRONG 3 hr wait.but why? Because they only have 2 techs working when they have 6 bays available. Why would a company not want to provide speedy service and take care of their customers? Very disppointed. WILL NEVER BUY TIRES HERE AGAIN and will probably go somewhere else to have them balanced and pay as my time is very valuable to wait around 3 hrs. Poor management and staffing!

Angel jimerez was extremely rude and aggressive the second I walked in so I left. No wonder this place has low stars, they hire anybody off the streets.

Went to check my air and they said you can do it yourself if you like. They were short handed clearly.

They are always really busy and crowded any time you head on there, probably after you placed your order it's better to get you appointment before leaving there unless their wait time is over 4 hours and even for the appointment you should at least wait for few days.
