Costco Tire Center, Alhambra CA

Wayyyyy quicker than Pepboys. Appointment only takes like an hour compared to Pepboys which is like 5 hours! Love that there's warranty and if you ever need to repatch, it's included in pricing. Most of the staff will be familiar faces unlike other spots that have newbies that can't even torque your wheels to spec. The nitrogen is a nice touch too with the green stem caps.

This place is always great. They are always honest and don't try to sell you something you don't need. Very reliable and the technicians are very nice and polite. If you schedule an appointment the wait time is not bad at all.

They took a while on Sunday to get my tires done, but overall it was a good time. I ordered them online for next Friday appt. I did a walk-in they told me wait time was est as 8-10 hours, but they finished around 2 hours later. Pretty good turn around. Don't expect lots of service members working on Sundays.

My expectations were met and I felt good.

For the online orders they told me the tire stems were a separate charge so beware. You will have to pay an additional 14ish dollars for this service, I was not given an option to exclude this cost.

If anyone needs tires I'd recommend Costco. I got the Michelin ones on 1/1/2020 and got free installation. Great price. Good service.

Highly recommend making an appointment and buying the tires ahead online. Otherwise you may wait over 2 hours and then another 2 hours for service. Wish they had a clearer appointment and walk in line. There is some benches in the parking lot that make waiting easy. Efficient and well priced.

I had a flat tire on New Year's Eve while I was visiting from San Diego for the Rose Bowl. I arruved at 4: 00 pm and they had me on the road in less than one hour even though they were swamped. They saved my trip and I got back to San Diego safely. Costco is awesome! Great work guys, i am a happy customer.

They don’t have any management here! I dropped my car here by 11 am and they told me will get it done by 6pm which is longest waiting time ever! However, they didn’t even finished it. They just told maybe will get it done within 4hours! Nonsense at all, they can’t finish so many jobs, why did they accept so many jobs by a day. Even that, it is not guaranteed, may be another 4 hours waste! So disappointed! Waste 9 hours! What a good job lol

Understaffed, generally services take a bit more times. Suggest appointment with them before you come.

If you’re going for Tire replacement I would recommend you to get online appointment otherwise you have to wait minimum 45-1 hour due to crowd and then 3 hours time for your car tire replacement. Stag is good and supportive.

Long lines are to be expected.its costco, but the service tire center always greets all their customers with a warm smile and tries to get your moving along so you dont have to wait so long!

What I love about Costco Tire Center in Alhambra is that the customer service is outstanding. Ernesto, manager, has outstanding people skills and is a great reflection on Costco. He gets you what you want and takes care of business. There's no hassle. I am extremely happy with the service.

New hours.could’ve sent emails/calls to those who still have 7: 00 am appointments as an update to their new operation hours.

Other than that, yes it’s slow, but the get it done right.

Great as always. Not only did they have what I needed in stock, but they were on sale! Saved almost $150.00.

Be prepared for a long wait, averaging anywhere between 10-50 minutes, especially if you go after it first opens in the mornings! Today, Sunday, I waited about 45 minutes in line, starting at about 11AM. But the technicians do a great job, and if anything goes wrong, it IS Costco, after all, and it'll usually be taken care of, so I keep going!

Dropped my car, manager said takes about 2 hours. We wait 4 hours still not done. Stayed outside under 50 degrees and wait to replace just 1 tire. Costco already closed and don’t let customer stayed inside. Asked the technician he gave a very bad attitude and said he was here since 7: 00 am. What’s a matter? He’s an employee and he got paid! So crazy! 9: 30 now my car still not done, not because they are busy. They are talking to each other and let customer wait outside.

Yes I like going to Costco with my wife and seeing all the new things but I haven’t been in the tire shop

Ordered tires online. Waited a week. Made an appointment. Still had to wait 30 minutes in line. Then almost 2 hours to get the tires put on. Realized I could have got the tires cheaper somewhere else. Not worth it.

Consistent with everyones experience, the price is great but the service is painfully slow.

It took me about 45 minutes of waiting in line just to buy the new tires. There was a long wait so I made an appointment for a later date thinking it would save time.

Just to get them to process my appointment took about 30 minutes and then the installation took about 2.5 hours, and that was on a light afternoon.

It's not the you don't save money on tires and service here but the lines for ANY type of service or even simple questions are so excruciatingly long. They should expand and hire more staff.

There was quite a line to wait through but they did open at 7am and Yvonne helped me check my Mini (Coupe) in. Very helpful & very friendly. Per my invoice Juan was the technician. I didn't interact with him however he put my spare tire back. It goes *under* the car which I never would have been able to do myself and I don't know, maybe it's all part of the service (?) but I'm still very grateful that it was done. Also, they answered the phone promptly every time I called
