I went to Costco Vision Center 6 times before actually getting my glasses.
1: Eye exam and bought the glasses
2: Picked up first pair of glasses, something seemed off with the vision but I figured it was just having a slightly weaker prescription I'd have to adjust to.
3: Picked up second pair, there was a weird aberration in the lens that made my vision blurry. When the employee checked the other pair they also had a similar aberration. Had to send one pair back and keep one so I could drive home.
4: Picked up updated glasses, and they had *another* aberration. This time they were scratched at the bottom but I decided to keep them since it's not too noticeable and I didn't want to go without my new glasses even longer.
5: Got a message that my second pair was ready for pickup. Went in, they looked for a while and couldn't find them then realized the message was an error and my glasses weren't ready.
6: Got my second pair of glasses, finally done.
An employee had offered to try getting me a refund or discount but whenever I brought it up again there were excuses about management not having time to look into it. At this point I still haven't received any discount or refund and honestly doubt it will ever happen. This was just very bad luck but I wouldn't recommend buying glasses from the optical center.
Update: I never received any refund or discount.
Good pricing with Costco deals. The staff is helpful. The place can get busy, especially on weekends. Much less wait on weekdays and evenings.

Since being a COSTCO member, we've had our eyes checked (at COSTCO) in Garden Grove, Burbank, Van Nuys, and found their service first rate.
Once there, you do need to pull a number for service.
This past Thursday, October 20,2022, We went (Van Nuys) and had our eyes checked. We decided to get two pairs (each).
The Staff helping us did a gr87 job of: suggesting, answering questions and making us feel comfortable.
Little Lucy (eye tech), made sure I had the right frames that fit me. Sasha, one of the other eye techs, tended to my wife's prescription. Both Lucy and Sasha were very professional, knowledgeable, courteous, respectful and did a fantastic job taking care of us.
When Lucy and Sasha finished filling out our prescriptions, Christina another eye tech, was asked to check and double check our prescriptions' paperwork. And that's good because it insures all is OK.
If you need glasses or Contact Lenses, go see these three Eye Techs at Costco, Van Nuys.
