Costco Vision Center, Burbank CA

I came here today with my mom and my 1 year old my appointment was at 3 and like usual decided to get there 10 min before as most places instruct you, I waited outside for over 30 min my fuzzy baby was not having but when they finally took me in I figured it won’t take long from here. I waited inside the patient room another 25 minutes when I hear the doctor pick up my chart from the outside and puts it right back then takes another patient in I don’t know if it was a race thing I noticed the other patients were the same race as the doctor and let me add they were roomed after me I don’t know if it’s because it was a child but whatever the reason I already had more or so 45 waiting to just get my eyes checked with an appointment my baby was not having it my mom waited outside with her but I did not want her waiting anymore I walked out I told them it was almost an hour after my appointment and to cancel it. I’ve been here before and it’s always a fast and easy in and out. Needless to say I will be taking my money elsewhere I don’t need that disrespect no one needs to treat anyone less because of race, gender, skin color etc.

Dr. El Ghali was very professional and was kind. He answered my dumb questions in a professional manner. Definitely coming back.

They need a line for people who are just there to pick-up their glasses they already ordered. It is soooo painful to have to wait AGAIN for over an hour just to pick-up your glasses.

“Cheap is expensive”. Been waiting for an hour and counting. You save some dollars on glasses but lose hours away from work. Made the math and Costco owes me. Not worrth it. They need at least two more clerks at this department.
