Costco Wholesale reviews
8Very disappointed with cashiers customer service Amy the baggage lady very rude needs to get more traning it's unfortunateCostco has her as a team member.
They must be CRACKING DOWN ON CAREGIVERS at this location because I, too, just tried to pick up a few groceries for my mom who has dementia and for whom I recently was ordered conservator. An otherwise nice-seeming manager said I could not use my mom's card to pick up any groceries with her prescriptions - only prescriptions and alcohol are allowed. I told her that I'm my senior mom's caregiver and she just said, "We have senior shopping hours. " I said, "My mom has *dementia*, she can't just come in here and shop. "
This has never been a problem before. I'm not trying to scam their system; just trying to get through this godforsaken pandemic while caring for my mother and this manager decides to be overzealous and nitpick on something I didn't know would be an issue since I was shopping for my mother. When I told her (the manager) that I was my mom's conservator, she said I needed to bring in documentation and get added to my mom's Costco account. I told her that no I don't carry that documentation around with me every time I go out to run an errand for her.
She could have just let me make the purchase and let me assure her that I would take care of the account status, which I am happy to do - but no, she would not let it go and now I feel even more frustrated as I'm just trying to do my best to care for my mom. I'm sorry I didn't get this annoying manager's name, but thanks A LOT for giving me my one and only terrible Costco experience.
The pharmacy department at this location have some of the most compasionate, workers plus they are very friendly and have a lot of patience. Kudos to the pharmacy department!
They are way to pushy on the executive membership. I have exactly what I need and I don’t need more. This is the only reason I hate going into a Costco. When they see my card, they call someone over all the time to pitch the upgrade. Stop that!
It’s a big store and they have a good selection of things. I would like to see more healthy items for snacking, but overall the meat selection is very large.
Went shopping for my bed ridden father and they told me I couldn’t use his Costco card to get him essentials. It’s never been a problem before. I get that rules are rules but I find this a little ridiculous especially during a pandemic where he can’t leave the house anyways.
This Costco does not have gas. So keep that in mind, other than that a bit smaller than some others so selection is different. I do know inventory is regional so its you average Costco, only issue is gas.
The good? My sister and I assisted our parents on their Costco shopping trip. Surprised no questions asked regarding 4 of us were together. As always Costco has everything they wanted along with my need for Red Vines and Skippy smooth peanut butter yum. The employees always are friendly and helpful. The bad? No munching on free samples and had to take our pizza slices to go. Sick of covid. Costco was very clean. I will always recommend this place.
I remember when Costco did not exist! I remember when when Costco opened-I lived in MI. From the Grand Opening, to this very day... Costco has always been the best place to shop! You can purchase a 60" t.v. And fill your house with groceries... The prices are unbeatable and the quality is superb.
Costco is a one stop shopping experience Vs the pain of going to several stores to purchase your items and paying more!
Costco fuel... No gas station comes close to the gallon prices.
