Costco Wholesale, San Marcos CA

I love shopping at Costco because you get your money worth, If you have a big family this is a place to shop but you need the Costco card to get in not open to the public.

It's Costco, They have everything you need and plenty of what you want. Prices are great as usual just like the fuel station.

I enjoyed my visit and was in and out within a half an hour but I wish people would put their carts in the cart pin. It was so bad today that the entire walkway was blocked.

Costco! My favorite store! No other store offers their liberal return policies. Add exceptional prices for quality, longer warranty periods for restricted return windows, customer satisfaction philosophy, a team of people paid fairly with good benefits, and no other retailer comes close.

Costco gets everything right, except one thing, the absence of curbside pick-up for fresh groceries. For an inflated price, a shopper will deliver. They're worth every dollar for a terribly slow shopper like me.

Note: Costco shopper services do not accommodate EBT purchases. (Walmart does!) Costco is not there for you during Covid-19 if you use EBT funds and self-isolate. Unfortunately, many at-risk disabled and seniors rely on EBT and must avoid shopping during Covid-19.

Costco does provide one early hour for the high-risk 60+, disabled, and immunocompromised at 9 -10 a.m. M- F in San Marcos, most of SoCal. Be an early-bird! (LoL- rotflol!) Night owl hours! Please? Costco is better M-Th after 7: 30 pm.

Costco doesn't offer a reduced membership fee for EBT shoppers like Amazon Prime @ half price. They do have a thin profit margin, though.

Of critical importance to me is to spend my dollars locally.preferably Mom & Pop biz, and Costco who gives grants locally, hires U. S. & local employees, and is not predatory as a business model, IMHO. Costco doesn't appear to tout this IMPORTANT fact: Costco doesn't source jobs oversees! Our Concierge/Cust service tech is an American employee. Costco doesn't outsource their structural support departments overseas either, such as their website. All customer service team members are American employees. All products, to my knowledge, that Costco has made under their Kirkland label are made or created in the U. S. A, too. Costco generously gives back to the local community.

Costco supplements and food products are high quality at unbeatable prices. I appreciate Costco for integrating a great selection of non-GMO, organic food and produce options.

Costco rotisserie chicken, still only $5 for 3 lbs, is worth the membership, alone. (Costco, you need to up your humane animal policies ASAP!) So is the $20 per 6 mos discount on my unbeatably priced auto-insurance.

In 2019 I wrote an aside on a faxed mileage declaration form because the free auto emergency services included with an Executive Membership failed to come jump start my car and said they couldn't get anyone until the following day.maybe. So, my little remark asserted I was not renewing my Executive Membership, I'd have to get reimbursed for not reaching the cash back reward, and the roadside service perk was worthless, even though I was at home with no emergency. However, I would have panicked and been very upset if I was stranded on the road and they didn't get a tow to me. That unrelated handwritten statement on the form side got bumped up to the VP, or Senior Mngr in the auto emergency services division! She called me personally, apologized for my "unacceptable" experience, and assured it would "NEVER" happen again. Wow! That's amazing customer service and total ownership of her division in Costco's products and services. I appreciated her fervor for "her product! " Costco people take great pride in their brand.

I was very unhappy with poor wifi connectivity and substandard picture quality on my very first big flatscreen tv purchase. Costco concierge instructed me to find another tv in inventory that I liked and had that delivered, discounted, then arranged to have the 1st tv picked up. That was amazing customer service. I didn't ask. They offered.

I washed the quilted insulating cover to a king sized memory foam topper as instructed and it shredded. Concierge sent a new cover!

That District Mngr in Vegas who fixed my Christmas order a few years back!

Many of us who know Costco, Love Costco for a reason.

I had one bad experience with a huffy mngr one time since Costco's birth. Their team members are happy to be part of Costco for a good reason!

I usually shop at this Costco. And it's usually pretty good. But if you need help.yeah I got attitude from 2 different guys, it took over an hour to find the lid for a tote got. Finally got it worked out, but.

Worst service ever! Checker didn’t eve acknowledge me, didn’t even tell me my total, the whole time she was talking to her helper and didn’t even say hi!

The bathrooms just made the stars 5. Most locations have not added the extra layer of protection then other location. This location is busy but worth it.

While I'm a single person and I don't need much in bulk sizes. There are some things however that are great deals

Would have been a 5 but parking is horrible I don't look forward to it and sometimes ruins my experience even before I walk in

San Marcos Costco and Gasoline are conveniently located close to Highway 78, Walmart, and many good eateries like Manna Korean BBQ

For in-and-out "shopping" it's convenient enough.but sad because so many people are living in fear of the VERY survivable virus.

The Food Court. Sad.you can't get a combo Pizza in fact the rest of their pizzas are pretty flat. I had a hot dog there that was a huge disappointment no onions, no relish, dried bun in a bag. Kinda makes you wish for the overly steamed bun when they used to wrap in foil. And please go back to Coke products! C'mon Costco you can do better than this!

Went during the holiday season and like expected, it was packed. Going at a later time (an hour before closing time) was a bonus as we got all our items and were able to pay fairly quickly.

Was very happy I went for toilet paper and paper towels was afraid I wasn't going to get it because people grab 5 or 6 at a time, I was very happy to see there were costco employee giving out the items I told the employees very smart and thanked them. Because I got my toilet paper and paper towels THANK YOU SO MUCH.

Managers of this location have issues, they are so rude and point everything you are doing wrong. I always avoid being around them. PLEASE LEAVE ME ALONE.

Today again, they came up with another original way to pick at me. I prepared my cart of 10 items with all the barcode easily accessible for a fast scan by the employee, and that manager yells at me that I have to put my small items on their disgusting belt (so covid friendly) and throw my items on it. Then the guy spent twice the amount of time to scan my items. Ok lady, that was genius.

Next time a manager annoys me for something ridiculous, I flip them off, I promise. This is unreal.

Costco's photo department is seriously lacking in knowledge and customer service. When asked how to crop photos they said photos must be cropped before putting on thumb drive or media. This is not true. Later on in the process of selecting prints we were able to crop. Considering that this department doesn't do any corrections whatsoever on prints, you'd think they'd know the basics of customer printing. Poor customer service (but not terrible). This review is only for the photo department at Costco and employees on the night of 11/21/20

Super busy. Staff was working hard to see that lines were moving and sanitation protocols were being followed. What a great store!

Costco never need any references. This is really a giant store in Carlsbad. If u need more quantity, u can definitely save money. For liquor lover, this store has lot many items to offer. Trust me.

Delivered to store did not go to shop. There were way too many people it was seriously dangerous. People were eating in line to get out of the store so they took off their masks. Need to have a limit on how many people should be in there at once. I'm going to have to get another Covid test after being in there!
