Costco Wholesale reviews
19No 40 pack Kirkland water on the floor, plenty on racks, already called management and I’m still waiting enough time to think about uploading pictures I know it’s Sunday (around 1: 45, took 23 minutes) but still!
Becareful if the membership owner is not there with you when you check out. I used to shop for my mom who cant get out of the house sometimes, and now they are forcing her to be present at checkout. They used to let things go but these days their greedy coportate policy is making things difficult for folks that are trying the buy the groceries for the same household. Supervisor (Melanie) there at this particular establishment is really rude as well. Instead of sympathizing with my situation, she is forcing me to buy a membership for myself. We do not need two memberships for the same household! My mom could not get out the house so my dad had to drove all way to the store to help me check out.
Her words, "we are not really forcing to buy or not forcing your dad to be present. It is your choice. You can just buy membership for yourself. $30 cash back if you sign up this year. "
Yeah, no thank you.
I plan to have my own membership in the future when I have my own household but this experience really drove me away. It is not about the money at the end of the day for me. It is about the customer service and respect for their customers. I rather pay a little more at the local grocery store than to receive a shiity treatment like this.
This place always gets the bottom of the pile in terms of quality products and fresh food/meat.
Unless they have quarterly inspections, then everything is fine for the day.
Ppl are great though.
Best place to buy organic foods. I like their summer collections. Best price for gas. Parking is not an issue. I like their chicken bakes.
Almost always busy. We come here often, especially when planning large family gatherings and we need lots of food and beverages.
Customer service always rude and very unprofessional they forgot theyre there to help clients not to be the police officers and act like we did something wrong we spend $ hundreds or thousands every year we deserve a better customer service.
Costco is always a great experience especially when you get a good park if you don't well then you get some good steps in for the day lol. Costco has Great prices for food and gas.
Is Costco, you spend all your check take out a credit line spend that, borrow money and spend that also, is not expensive is just tempting so many nice things
There are rude people who do not respect the order for parking in the INCAPACITATED area and also the order of the line to Pay
Costco is awesome this one is really good parking lot is huge the staff is really friendly one of my favorite Costco's Davis Costco rotisserie chickens any day of the week.
Parking isn't the worst but be careful of the carts some parking spaces are just used for wondering carts.
Getting to the gas station is kinda of interesting depending on how you get in I would suggest street side.
A good experience. Moderately crowded but efficient the store was well stocked and cashier stations were fully operating
California loves Costco, and I just wish we had more to keep the traffic down. Hit this place up for gas and bulk items. I miss picking up a beef polish with sauerkraut, but post pandemic things change. Best place to pickup party liquor.
Love this store. I was able to find just about everything I was looking for. I went to Costco at least 2 or 3 times a week in the month of September. The only issue I had was picking out water melons. I purchased 2 that wasn't good. Bland taste and 1 was over ripped.
The warehouse and staff are super. The cluster that is allowed for fuel is obscene. It is a free-for-all, wrong way drivers rule the roost. As it is obvious and known yet nothing is done the warehouse is willfully compliant in the problem.
Always busy but as Costcos go you go for the experience not the wait time. Food is good. Atmosphere is welcoming. Staff is friendly and service is quick.
Has the cheapest Gas in the bay area and if you go between 10am-5pm it doesn't really have that long a line. Gas station usually stays open up to an hour before and after store closes.
Pretty crowded usually, but great prices. The San Leandro warehouse however disables most of its self checkout machines, while every other Costco I've been do uses all of theirs. The explanation is always that "the manager wants it that way". Very annoying, especially when it's crowded.
Costco is great but the parking lot traffic is absolutely terrrrrible and often badly congested. Whoever designed the parking lot here deserves some special punishment. There's one exit in the front where four lanes are feeding into all at once and one exit in the back past the Costco gas where it takes 10+ minutes to get out because that's how backed up the line is into the one available lane to get through.
Once upon a foolish Thanksgiving eve when I came here to buy some food for a party, I got stuck in the parking lot for an hour and a half. I don't even know if there was some accident somewhere else in the lot or if congestion from everyone else doing last minute shopping was that bad.
Unless you're going during the early off hours, expect terrible, terrible parking lot congestion. I've had less frustration visiting one of the locations in Hayward instead.
