I really enjoy thr food. They have Taco Tuesday from Monday-Thursday at a $1.29 each. They used to complimentary beans.

Why did our food never arrive and the woman on the phone was so unhelpful? I guarantee if i set up another account and you didnt know it was me you would deliver and put your discimination aside because you didnt know it was me you were discriminating against. The service is so bad (food is great) For no explained reason Cotixa's will cancel your order and ignore you for the rest of the day. With psycho claims of "you didnt pay for your previous order" which are proved untrue by POSTMATES (friendly folks) no idea what your problem is. Probably 1 person who has an issue for whatever reason.

My wife and I came in and ordered food here last night, we loved the energy they had and how friendly they were.so we thought and we were truly disappointed and I wouldn’t recommend coming back to this place. My wife even met them halfway and ordered in Spanish, not only to impress but out of respect and admiration for the culture. We get home and come to find out her meal was under portioned and RAW yet my plate was perfect. I didn’t get why they did this but this was disgraceful and discriminating. NEVER AGAIN.

Worst place EVER! We had to get up to get our plate of food which they left in the front where you pay. One of the female workers was literally dancing on the table meanwhile men were feeling on her. It was disgusting we didn’t want to touch our food anymore. I regret even taking one bite of it. I don’t recommend at all! Customer service was not good.

I travel all around San Diego frequenting the many Cotija’s Taco shops. If you want the best deal for Taco Tuesday or their daily four tacos and a beer for $8.99 then you’ve found your spot. You will also be greeted by Melanie with a warm smile and positive attitude! Thanks girl! Your amazing!

My breakfast burrito was 90 ° French fries and hardly any egg. It included a "sharp" bone for picking your teeth or stabbing your neighbor. Never going back. 8/1/2022 take-out visit.

Food is great. They give you a huge volume of food. The prices is reasonable. Its clean and fast in getting your food. Friendly employee.

Tried the surf and turf burrito and cheese enchiladas. Both where great. I'm surprised that they have a low review. I've been trying places in the area and it's hard to find a solid Mexican food spot. Great service, great salsa, and great food.

Got some nacho asadas and they were horrible chips looked old the quality of the ingredients seem of low quality products #1 worst play in San Diego we need an original taco shop from the 90s here

I stopped in for lunch. Ordered the Campechana. Ingredients looked and tasted fresh. It had some spice, and they give you some hot sauce in case you want it Hot. Good prices compared to other places I’ve been. I would visit this place for another Campechana when working in the area. Thanks!

This place is awful. The food is bland and the restaurant looks like trash inside and out, literally. There is always trash on the sidewalk outside of the restaurant. There are cigarette butts everywhere from I'm guessing employees, and graffiti on the walls. Owners/management do not care at all about the community and surrounding neighborhoods. Pictures are of another restaurant. This place doesn't have good food and is an eye soar. Less than 4 stars overall for a reason.

Horrible customer drive through service! The lady was super mean! I love Mexican food but her service was not very nice at all. She was super grumpy when she asked for the payment and she asked me what my order was and I told her oh shrimp burrito and carne asada chips.and she said I thought you wanted fries, with a smirk on her face. And then I said oh yes sorry with a smile, and she slammed the window as she took my payment. Customer service needs to be corrected her. The food wasn’t all that great either!

To give you an idea of how good this place is. I live near the border. We drive about 20 miles to go get food here.

I love to get some churros from this Cotija's after my shift a 1-3 times a week or so. They're so yummy and they're small but they cost $1.75 for each churro and it's a good price considering how tasty it is with lots of cinnamon sugar and even some yummy filling inside! These churros have a MUCH better value and have a lot more flavor compared to the $4 churros at Belmont that are literally the same small size but $4; again, these Cotija's churros are SO much better: DDDDD

I had food here multiple times they never messed up my order once! The food isn’t overpriced ether and it’ll be done just in a matter of minutes! 10/100 would recommend if you like yummy food
