Cotija's Taco Shop reviews
17Have been visiting this restaurant for the past 6 years. Their Caldos and Carne Asada nachos are the best. Recently it changed ownership and now the service has become exceptional! They have also added items to their menu. Strongly recommend this place!
Great food, great taste tacos de tripartite are bomb and the roller tacos, will definitely return
I was hungry so I ordered the steak and bacon burrito. Bacon was not cooked properly. It was still partially raw and and the meat was greasy as could be. I ate at another location before and it was never like that. I will never be back.
MY FAVORITE NEW PLACE!
LOVED THE CARNE ASADA PLATE! GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE AND UNDER NEW MANGEMENT! Check them out:)
This Restaurant is under New Management and has the best fresh Mexican food in Town! I truly recommend this place…
Had the Cali Surf burrito and it did not disappoint. I had someone refer this location to me for an epic surf and turf burrito and it was most definitely a good decision to come. The carne asada tasted well marinated and the chipotle sauce was added a very nice kick. The burrito was as big as my forearm. Had half for lunch and half for dinner. I'll definitely be back.
We decided to try this place. I ordered a Chile Relleno and Cheese Enchilada, the Chile Relleno was so fluffy it didn’t have an even distribution of cheese and had a flour taste. The enchilada was disgusting, it tasted like a super sweet mole sauce. I was very disappointed. The beans were good, the rice was ok. However, the lady at the counter was friendly.
The cashier was very sweet and welcomed us with a big smile. We ordered fish tacos and chicken tacos. They tasted great. Would definitely recommend this place.
It is where you can best eat some good fries with carne asada and some good tacos. I invite you to visit the place
What's in a taco? I been looking for a great taco spot for over 2 years in town and I have found love at first bite! Let me tell you what is in their tacos! LOVE, AUTHENTICITY, AND MAGIC salsa! Cotija Tacos is now under new ownership as of 5/17/23. Today I had the pleasure to meet the new owner and personally thank her for the new change and great food! Do you know what else is amazing? The cleanliness, quick service, and wonderful customer service with a beautiful smile! Go explore their menu/shop and experience greatness. Yes, im a real person who simply love tacos and great service! Thank you for letting me taco-bout my experience:)
Without a doubt, one of the best places, it would fall short to describe such kindness on the part of the waitress, 100% recommended
Order two enchilada plates 15 to 20 minutes we got the first plate of enchiladas 15 more minutes to get the second, ridiculous
I came to eat for the first time at this place, and I loved it. We ordered an enchilado burrito and Diablo Shrim burrito and they were delicious. I loved the food and they have a lot of variety of dishes, breakfast tacos and burritos and more. Very good place to come and eat and very economical. I highly recommend it, I will definitely return to this place.
Cashier was friendly and polite. I ordered chile verde combo and my food was completely cold as if it had just came out of the fridge. My husband ordered a carnitas torta and the carnitas was burnt, dry, no flavor and they looked old. I definitely wont go back.
I thought i paid for 2 hard shredded beef tacos the shells were so fried they cut my mouth. I was looking at the menu after I ordered. They gave me the 2.99 tacos w/ guacamole. NOT WHAT I ORDERED. I will not nor will I ever eat there again. If you eat there make sure you are understood what your order is.
Our first time in after being closed for remodeling. Noticed they're under new owners. Soon realized that wasn't the only thing that's changed. Seems like the food quality has changed as well. Ordered the cheese enchiladas. They were tye saddest excuse for enchiladas. Swimming in a red sauce that tasted too sweet. The things were tiny with no cheese in them what so ever. This used to be my go to place. Now its just another mediocre taco shop in Hemacinto. Which there's already plenty of. Very disappointing.
