The team at Cottonwood group was very EXCELLENT
From administration.
Nurses. CNAs. And to the Therapy group.
One thing to consider.
The laundry service needs some work on returning clothes back to owners.
All did exceptional work.

Overall, the staff at this place does not follow Doctor's orders and does not follow through. We had a terrible time getting the nurses to give our Dad his medications according to the doctor's orders. Med that were to be given an hour before breakfast were given when breakfast arrived. Other meds were not given at all sometimes. The Social Services dept.said they would do certain things, but they seldom followed through. The Dir.of Nursing said she would take care of certain things, but she never did. Some of the people at this facility are great. Particularly the Physical Therapy staff and some of the CNAs, like Pablo. But, in general, the care was very inconsistent.

I wanted to thank the PT team they are amazing I wouldn't be wearing I'm at today without their help Laura very caring very professional always have a smile on her face Russell the same always asks how are you Miss Hines are you in any pain today before I start my therapy he as well is caring funny very professional as well Daniel always have a smile on his face Kelsey is a very sweet young lady as well always greeting in the morning as Kayla has a charming smile very professional Raffi hope I'm spelling his name right he's funny and kind speaks all the time Nadine is very sweet and kind she has the best PT team ever if I had to come back I wouldn't hesitate the nurses were amazing Luz Brenda Abraham Lucky Annabelle Merlin I won't forget activity Valerie Jojo I really enjoyed playing Bingo every day they made it fun the CNA's Vanessa Desiree Hunter was always polite greeted me every time he saw me Arlene always made sure I being taken care of Mina as well made sure my appointments were made I apologize if I left names out I had a list but I misplaced it but Cottonwood Canyon Health is amazing I would rate you AAA Plus

I had an amazing experience at this facility. Staff was amazing. Very courteous and caring.

I just wanted to take the time to leave a review. The nursing and therapy services were amazing! Thank you to that staff for being so positive and welcoming.

Had a wonderful experience at cottonwood! Lidia was particularly helpful in answering all my questions. She was extremely knowledgeable and made me feel like I was in trusted hands.

NO STARS IF I COULD! My grandpa passed because of their negligence! We went to complain to their facility and all we got as a response was “Ohh” They didn’t even give condolences! SO MEDIOCRE! THEY DONT CARE FOR PATIENTS!

Arlene was the best person and staff I’ve ever experienced. Her support and help released my anxiety about my concerns. She is so sincere and hardworking person. I really want to see her often.

I had my mom go there for rehab and had a great experience at the facility, the nurses were exceptional, the staff was very knowledgeable and helpful, and they really made us feel at home given the circumstances. Our overall experience during her stay was great.

I don't know if it is their policy to steal, manipulate, and threaten thier patients. But that's what I have observed them doing. And I don't know what else to do, to help my loved ones, so they can live without being afraid of these caregivers destroying thier lives. They have stolen, extorted, and threatened them. And now they are so confused and brainwashed into thinking that they can't make the caregiver mad at them, by reporting her stealing from them. To all that read this if you love your parents, them don't send them here. Terrible home caregivers.

I have been here this facility now since April 28th since Friday I have not had a shower or a birdbath a wipe down and nothing I am in a diaper 24 hours a day ano thing I get wiped down is with a wifey on my you know Jennifer areas I asked constantly since this morning May 1st after coming back from Physical Therapy if when when am I on a shower list is still yet the only answer I get so I'll be right back and I will be right back I asked again five minutes ago when can I please have a shower I stink I smell I could smell myself and it's disgusting and do what I have to check to see when your shower list and I'm like I've been waiting all day out all day long for an answer so the nurse tells me I'm going to get charged recycle I don't care if you get the charge nurse administrator give me somebody I will bathe myself in Gatorade cuz I cannot stand the way I smell it is inhumane to be these many days without showering or bat or a bird bath at me sponge bath okay. So now I sit here waiting to see if they're going to let me know if I get a bath and not however I've called a family to come in and give me a bath

My mom was transferred to Cottonwood Canyon for rehab after spending 2 weeks at Grossmont Hospital. She walked into the ER at Grossmont and 2 weeks later couldn’t walk, stand or feed herself. Even with the nursing shortage, we found the nursing staff at Cottonwood to be attentive and resolved any issues in a timely manner. Everyone was very friendly and always took a minute to say Hello and ask if we needed anything. Physical Therapy Charge Nadine and her team were Amazing! They had my mom up and walking in just a few days and doing stairs about 10 days later. Overall, a good experience for our family! Thank you to everyone at Cottonwood Canyon!

I was at cottonwood from September to December. The therapy there was phenomenal. When I got there, I was unable to even get out of bed. After my stay there, I was walking all over with my walker and was able to return home for Christmas! I can’t thank the staff there enough! Especially Laura, Russell, Kayla, Nadine and Kelsey from rehab! I would also like to thank the nurses who took care of me, especially Chris, Rafi, Ana and tondra. They were so encouraging and helped me keep my spirits up during my recovery. If I ever need to return for therapy, I will definitely be returning there. Thank you cottonwood!

My grandma has stayed a 4 different facilities in the past few years and Cottonwood is by far the best facility hands down! Very clean and organized. And the staff is extremely friendly! They will cater to your needs and make you feel at home. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a place in San Diego county.

Love the staff. Very professional and always go the extra mile. The new floors are phenomenal.
