The WORST CLINIC period. Gina Langford is dishonest doctor and very unprofessional. They rip you off for service they don’t know how to do, instead of refunding you money they blame you for even asking for it in the first place.crazy. I asked numerous time if they can do a procedure for my cat, all of them agreed to do with no problem, but then they screw it up and lied to me blaming me it was a bad idea to begin with. I almost lost my cat! Why do you say yes if you not qualified or simply cannot read simple instructions They charged me $1025.75 for service they failed to do right. Very UNPROFESSIONAL AND DISHONEST BUSINESS STAY AWAY FROM THEM!

Undoubtedly the best vet in Shasta County. I believe they are the only ones that do walk ins as well. They are also probably the best vet north of Sacramento for canine reproduction. The staff are very personable and their customer service is great. Sometimes the wait time can be a bit long, but I would rather sit in a waiting room for an hour than have to schedule the appointment four weeks in advance. The co-owners are extremely nice and personable guys who will do whatever they can to earn your business. Just a great place.

All employees were friendly and comforting to me as well as my sick kitty. They knew exactly what he needed and explained it to me in detail. They listened to my questions and answered all of them.
The office atmosphere is relaxing and I didn't feel rushed when it was time to leave. This is my new favorite animal clinic that I'll be using for all of my cats in the future. Thank You!

Tried for for days to get in.with a sick kitten.what a money making set up.vet was friendly but did nothing did not even clean the kittens eye or tell me if it was a boy or girl sent me off with 120.00 is presriptions and 225.00 bill.shame!
shasta county needs some service for animals that normal people can afford.

It was late Friday afternoon when we arrived even though they were very busy they still helped take care of Paloma. She was very sick but doing very well now. Thank you it was well worth the drive from Orland and would do it again every one was so kind and helpful.

You guys are awesome! From my first call inquiring about your services to follow up calls about trapping a feral cat, to procedures for sterilization, to day of procedure, consultation before and after, to drive home with a huge sigh of relief. They were very good with both of my kittens. Since only one really needed care they didn't charge me for the exam or deworming of my second kitten. Definitely be there at least half an hour before they open, but I was able to wait at home once I registered which I preferred to waiting in the office. I highly recommend them and will be taking my pets there again.

After hour visit and they were wonderful with our puppy, after having gone to VCA in Redding after calling and being told to bring our puppy, once we arrived we were told they do not have after hours vet. We then went to Cottonwood Small Animal and got the best care and customer service.

255.00 for a parvo test in my car (it was negative), some antibiotics and a deworming dose. I told them the puppy had been beaten. No Xray because they didn't know where to start. Puppy died later that night. The A-hole that beat him is in jail. That's the only good part about the experience. RIP Colonel Riker!

I get that all vets are short staffed and overworked, but be up front with expectations. I called and was told to arrive early for walk ins. So I came an hour and a half before opening. I waited and then found out one woman, who apparently is there every day, was holding spots for people so I almost didn't make the cut. Then after waiting over 2 hours, standing in the sun with my dog, we were told to go home and they would call in about 4 hours. Just tell people not to bring animals if you are going to send them home anyways and a lot are driving pretty far, so that is ridiculous. And if that lady is there every day holding spots and metaling in other's business, maybe staff should ban her before a fight breaks out.

We love going here for our pets vet needs. They have been extra busy lately because some vets in the area quit, which makes sense why most vets in the area seem overwhelmed at the moment. It's made wait times longer and they don't take anymore walk ins after probably between 830 and 930 which is inconvenient for me, as I have a toddler who tends to sleep in. But, I will continue to use them when they are needed.

Took my cat in for emergency after hours care because he got bit by a rattlesnake. The clinic took great care of him and he was back to normal in just a couple days like nothing ever happened. They are very knowledgeable and caring.

We had excellent care here for our new dog. Everyone we spoke with was extremely kind, professional, knowledgeable and easy to work with. The Dr that we spoke to let me ask all the questions I needed and helped me understand how to best care for our dog.

The vets are good the girls in the front are super nice.the thing I dislike is not being able to make an appointment.since I wrote the review I had to take my dog back for an exam.and she tested positive for parvo and thank God they went beyond what any other vet would have done. My dog had parvo even though she had her shots. The vet took her in and techs and the vets treated her like it was their furbaby. Because of their care she pulled thru it. Thank you all front and back everyone was beyond kind and professional.

I was really impressed. The staff was professional, the doctor was great, the facility was a good as any. As difficult as it is to get an appointment at any vet clinic/hospital these days, Cottonwood animal clinic has made it possible to get a same day appointment. The process is a little wonky, especially with todays online technology, but it works. This is walk in only, daily appointment are issued on a first come, first served basis. They open at 8am, arrive at the clinic 6: 30 - 7: 00, get in line. When they open, they’ll process you, send you away, and give you call with an appointment later that day. The early you arrive, the closer you’ll be to the front of the line, the early your appointment will be. No need to take your pet with you in the morning. If your a first time customer, take proof of rabies vaccination.

I brought my dog in there he's 5 years old the first thing she told me to do was just to put him down didn't even tell me what was wrong with himtook him to a different vet they gave him some medicine he's totally fine Definitely would not recommend this place and she was very rude

Thank God they are open till 10pm. I called all the emergency clinics within 100 miles they either are short staffed so couldn’t see my pet or they wanted 4-6k! I will definitely use them again in the future

Our dear dog was bitten by a rattlesnake late Sunday evening. Your very attentive emergency veterinarian came to the rescue. Our sick little dog was saved and is recovering very nicely. Thank you so much for caring and interrupting your life to help a stranger in need. We are truly grateful for your kindness and care.

Brought our old friend in for a euthanasia. Was charged $335 for the procedure & cremation service and was told I’d receive a paw print along with the remains.
Hadn’t heard from the clinic for about 3 weeks so I called down for them to tell me they didn’t have any record of my dog having ever been there. I became obviously upset and one of their receptionist called me rude. They then called and told me they found them and put it under my fiancés name. They named someone I don’t even know…someone completely random. Then proceeded to tell me his remains were ready for pickup. Pretty sure they gave me some random other animals remains, and I never received a paw print print like I paid for. I do not recommend you come here for your beloved pets. They will ruin your entire experience and then call you rude for getting emotional.
