Country Style Jamaican Restaurant

I def got a new spot for my big girl meal prep, cause they hooked me tf up. I order a Large jerk chicken and curry chicken. Lord! They gave me so much food it lasted me 3 days. I went home and made jerk chicken nachos, jerk quesadilla, jerk chicken salad. I copped some roti shells and devoured the curry chicken. The flavors were amazing, you can tell their food is made with TLC. I Def need to go back in 5-7 business days.lol!

WOW! First time trying Jamaican food and this blew me away! Soooooo good.
My friend called to order and drove us here to pick it up! No dine in experience.
Got home after 20 mins and the food was still excellent and warm!

He got the chicken curry and I got the jerk chicken. Both large. My rice (jerk chicken) uffff the best rice taste. It tasted like it spiced up with crawfish style and so addicting. Big portions and so many chicken. Request no vegetables if you want more rice.

Food was amazing, one of my best meals in the L. A area. Friendly staff and food was fresh and hot. My god brother is a entertainer that goes by the name (g-terra) from Spanish town. I have tasted many meals. HATS OFF TO COUNTRY STYLE JAMAICAN RESTAURANT! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR MAKING MY STAY MEMORABLE

Great food and large portions for a fair price. Only to go service is offered at the establishment but the ladies behind the counter were nice and packed the order very nearly and made sure all the necessary utensils were there. The atmosphere was just okay. Highly recommended. I'll be going back.

We were trying to go to another Jamaican restaurant, and it was closed, then we stumbled upon this place.
Perfect in the best way possible.
Only salt in rice was too much for me but it doesn't stop me from rating here as perfect.
I will keep coming to this place

I don’t often go out of my way to leave five star reviews but this place is so special I wanted to take a moment to acknowledge it. This is the first truly amazing food I have had since moving to LA. Amazing vibes, amazing people, and I wish nothing but the best for this amazing restaurant! Everything is amazing and at a super reasonable price!

Soup is decent, plenty of meat. Will return to try other soups I had chicken. Love the calaloo always freshly made. Jerk chicken is all white meat. Oxtails, um, not so sure of the seasoning.
Excellent beef patties. Would like to encourage the cashier to Smile.

This place has the best Jamaican food I’ve found in LA. For context, I lived in East Flatbush, Brooklyn for the majority of my life so Im not just chatting when I say their food is tasty. I enjoyed the manish water, patties, cow foot soup, fried chicken and honestly would try anything on their menu.

The best Jamaican food I’ve ever had. Worth the drive. I scraped my Togo box clean because it was so good.

The Calloloo is so delicious! Very flavorful, no wonder it's always sold out, it's realy good.

Authentic delicious Jamaican food! I’ve ordered several times and it’s been on point. Prices are very reasonable as well!

My first and last experience at this establishment leaves much to be desired. An immediate setback was the sheer lack of professional customer service – a crucial facet of any food establishment's reputation. The disinterest and unresponsiveness of the staff not only tainted the overall atmosphere, but also left me feeling rather ignored.
However, what struck me as most disturbing was the glaring issue of poor hygiene standards. I observed several health and cleanliness concerns that made me question the safety of consuming food here. These included untidy surfaces, a visibly unclean kitchen area, and ill-maintained facilities. A restaurant of any caliber must strictly ensure basic hygiene, which sadly was not the case here.
Given these experience points, I'm disinclined to return. It is my hope that management will take these criticisms seriously, and consider them opportunities for much-needed improvements. For now, I cannot commend this restaurant to fellow food enthusiasts due to the issues mentioned. Therefore, my advice to potential patrons would be to exercise caution when choosing this establishment.

I come and get the oxtail at least once a month and whenever I go, the ladies that give you your food are kind of rude,
every time I go in I make sure that I am polite, because that is how I was raised,
And you always treat people with respect that are cooking your food….
but they do not reciprocate I’m not sure if Jamaican people are just like that, but don’t come to work if you have a bad attitude.

This place is special for many reasons, small unassuming and amazing food. First, I have to say that ox tails are not available anywhere in Central California where I live. I am here in Inglewood, California, and looking for interesting food options. I discovered this authentic Jamaican restaurant using maps. I was happy to discover ox tails and many other home cooked dishes. I say home cooked because that's how good it is. Ox tails incredible beefy rich fatty fall of the bone impressive. Jerk chicken fire a busrt of intense flavor spicy good, curry goat also rivals the ox tails for incredible flavor so moist and delicious. Sides also great cabbage very tasty, plantains good and everything served with classic rice and beans so good. Dessert sweet potato pudding looks like pie very satisfying also got red velvet cake, yummy and to drink I tried pineapple ginger drink again blown away by the flavor. All this amazing food was new to me, and I'm sad to say that I won't get to enjoy these flavors until I return to this area. So if you live anywhere near Inglewood you need to go and get this grub. No seating this is grab and go just makes it more special.

They lost me for good. Twice I had to deal with rude & disrepectful girls at the register, Yeah, Jamaican resturants aren't friendly, but it's 2023 & good custumer service is essental. Why would I spend my money?

The soups are good, I always aim for them. I always order the same thing on ubereats. Though it's never listed I always call to confirm what they have before I order. They tell me to order under "veggie plate", since it's the "same price". It was always successful, until this time when they sent me a veggie plate, & a undercooked patty.

I was really not trying to be ungrateful, so I opened the plate to eat, but the cabbage was soggy, and the rice&peas is dry. Paid $27 for leftovers, I know when rice, peas & cabbage aren't fresh. I called and the store & they were willing to make it right but looking at the plate I knew I didn't want anything else from there.

I'm assuming they would put gravy all over so people don't notice that it's old. I'm grateful for him trying to make it right, but to charge that much for leftover is beyond me. I'm not even tripping off the order mistake, I'm mad that plate was old, and they sent it off, I couldn't even eat it.
