Coupa Cafe - Ramona reviews
24Had a delicious arugula and avocado salad here. I also recommend the Vietnamese coffee. I do suggest the dijon vinaigrette over the lemon with the salad though, but that was just my personal preference. I felt that the arugula needed something a bit stronger to offset the strong flavor (even though I'm an arugula addict).
This place has one amazing ambiance and vibe. The coffee and food is pretty good. They've a nice bakery as well. I would definitely recommend this for some quiet study/ work or a date. They've inside seating which is quiet.
I want to give this place 5 stars but we had some issues with the service. We ordered boba, they gave us a smaller straw, we asked for another one which was also too small for boba. Had to just drink the iced tea without boba instead.
A solid choice for breakfast or lunch. Their breakfast dishes are good, but I recommend trying their arepas and chais (there are a few different options). GF-friendly, for folks who are gluten sensitive.
Best mocha in town and the friendly staff knows everyone. Great place for social gatherings or simply to bring your laptop and get a little work done.
Inconsistent service. I ordered my food on the app, left a good tip. I was waiting at the table and went to ask for a cup of water. The lady behind the counter told me I need to pay additional 25 cents for it - that was strange and left a bad impression.
Pretty overrated. We got the breakfast arepa and the omelette, food tastes like what you can cook on the kitchen in 5 minutes.
4.5 for the decor though.
I think that this cafe is a bit expensive for the taste. The deluxious dark chocolate is quite sweet and is made with powder and isn't thick and the sweets are nothing special but quite expensive. Also for the whole cafe there is only 1 toilet shared by every gender so be prepared for long waiting!
Great spot to get some work done, but needs a better wine selection. They serve at from tiny bottles, so can't cost much to get more than Chardonnay
Lots of great seating space - love the extra lounge! Bit pricy but in line with the rest of Palo Alto.
Outdoor seating? Pastries? Hard to argue. But please stay away so that there will be more tables for me!
Customer service is bad, cashier is blunt, he should be more friendly, no smiles and no welcome I used to be from this location since 2009.
Quaint little restaurant similar to a Crepevine. Serves salads, soups, paninis, breakfast, crepes, desserts and drinks. Unlike Crepevine, their portion for their dishes are on the small side, but prices are reasonable. Seating is cafe-like and is open seating after ordering at the counter. Food was good but not anything to be overly excited about. There is a storefront next door that serves extra seating for the main restaurant, which can be leased out to host private parties. It was a comfortable space to eat and lounge around. Lastly, there is only 1 restroom that serves the entire restaurant that was crowded when we were there.
Great menu, best hot chocolate in town. Arepas are also really tasty. Good music, nice place to work or talk with a friend.
Sit inside where they have a skylight. Else it's way too dark.
Sedetevi dentro in fondo dove c'è più luce
Love the coffee here and my wife will tell you that the chocolate here is to die for! Great friendly service. Gets busy at night so grab a seat quick
A usual coffee spot in the downtown area. The place is happening. The hot chocolate can have little more chocolate and a little cleaning of the table when someone leaves so that the next person need not sit with the other persons left over coffee cup
Coffee is ok, but not excellent. Food is very good. Atmosphere is nice and cozy, but often very busy.
Really nice environment, service, and quality Venezuelan food (desserts, entrees, plates, smoothies, coffee, you name it)
Great coffee, arepas, and snacks. The environment is cozy and easy to work in, but there’s not always a free seat indoors. It’s easy to get lost in a book or a project at this tucked away location. Highly recommend!
Their Venezuelan offerings are quite nice as are the deserts, but the service can be a bit curt.
