Courtyard by Marriott Palm Desert reviews
18If you need a connection with rooms ie you have kids.yeah NO. Even if you call do the reservation AND double check. By the time you get there. It's another story. Over priced for the amenities. I expected better.
Really Nice place, friendly attendants. Not sure why basic hygiene products aren’t available in the rooms and you have to ask at the counter for them? In a nice, expensive place you’d think they could spare a little tube of toothpaste and some mouthwash without having to go back to the front desk.
I just love the hospitality and team work put into this establishment! You can tell they love what they do and go above and beyond to accommodate guests! It was such a peaceful and relaxing family vacation
Beautiful. Clean, cool air, pool, nearby restaurants and old downtown. Dogs okay, but ypu must pay extra. Ask about service dogs.
Room appointed nicely but not spectacularly; missing a microwave oven. It's a Courtyard thing: they don't have a free breakfast buffet like Residence Inn has. Instead, you pay a fee for a limited choice of items, and not cheaply. The bedding was not the famous "Marriott" mattress & box spring, but slept fairly well, even if it was a bit soft. It's best feature is that it is 10 minutes from Acrisure Arena.
Wifi was weak and our room was small and not well lite. The pool was great the 1st day but then didn't clean it on day 2. The clerks at the desk were very good but could do anything. Would be embarrassed to be a Marriott hote.
I have stayed here a few times with no issues staff has been great until now Aurora was very unprofessional and rude no customer service experience at all, she should find another line of work, I know Marriott is desperate to hire people, but they chose the bottom of the barrel with this one.
Friendly staff, rooms need upgrade; room was supposed to be an upgrade yet far from it; great breakfast burrito's=+0.8 Grahms for 2.8 Rating.
No way of controlling the AC the buttons didn't work. Decided to disconnect it since it was cold. Plugged it back in to get cool again for the night and it wouldn't turn on. Caled the front desk for 20 minutes with no response and had to walk over to the front. It was midnight and guys said he had no one available to check it and that the system wasn't working in order to change me rooms and there was nothing he could do that I had to wait until the system was back up again. Honestly I should've slept in my truck for this horrible service it is hot in my room
We were in town one night to see a concert. The arena was right across the freeway. Wouldn't you think the hotel would think of possibly doing a shuttle for the guests to the arena? No. We had to wait for over an hour and a half to get a ride from the arena back to the hotel.
Just a suggestion think about getting a shuttle bus, maybe that might even bring you more business to your hotel.
Other than that the hotel was fine, yes it is a little out dated and the doors slam shut when entering your room.
Excellent customer service. The location was great, too. Close to freeway as well as some restaurants within walking distance. And, it's not far from HWY 111, where there's more establishment to visit and choose from.
This hotel should be avoided if you need wifi for business use or personal needs. It simply doesn't work in many of the rooms - including mine - and I heard that from several other guests plus three staff. The Manger's attitude is horrible and will do nothing except expect you to spend hours on the phone with tech support claiming it's YOUR phone or laptop that has the problem. He admitted that they have wifi problems but won't call tech support to fix or reboot the system. He will not offer you any compensation whatsoever and if you request some Marriott Bonvoy points as a token of regret for lack of wifi and your wasted time, his response will be "NO. " How rude.
The mattresses are soft and there is NO housekeeping even for a stay of 3 nights. You must track down a housekeeper and request any fresh towels. The trash is not picked up. This hotel is NOT three stars nor should it wear the Marriott name.
Giving 3 stars because of the great customer service from the staff especially Kyle at the front desk! Tried to do mobile checkin and didn’t work, then once I got to my room the bathroom reeked of cigarette smoke! Front desk apologized and helped me get new room. But while I was waiting a lady in front of me was also making some complaint. I get the vibe here that employees are doing best they can and that the management sucks. Don’t think I’ll be back.
If you've ever stayed at a Courtyard, this is typical. My recommendation is to make a reservation for the top floor, and away from the 2 busy streets if you want to get the best opportunity for uninterrupted sleep. Otherwise, it's a good bargin compared to the Marriott resort and very close by

Applebees had WiFi so the manager is Feeding the staff untruths who then are told to pass that on to the guests.

We are titanium elite BONVOY members receiving unauthentic apologies and dismissive attitudes.

We were awoken at 10: 40pm at night by the front desk staff knocking on our door. When we approached the manager to let him know he dismissed us immediately.
Worst mattress ever, woke up with every part of my body sore.
Not what I expected from a Marriott property.
Clean rooms, friendly staff. Bar closed for remodeling but Applebee's is right next door
Reposting review because we had the EXACT same experience and response from the manager. Arrived to the “systems” being down & manual check in that took 3 hours. Applebees had wifi so we became suspicious when the staff claimed outage.
Front desk nocked on our door at 10: 46 pm at night and housekeeping at 9: 30 the day of checkout which is 11: 00.
