Courtyard by Marriott San Francisco Airport reviews
20Customer service is the worst. From front desk supervisor/manager to the breakfast bar host. I had the worst experience with them ever. When I got there the front desk manager who’s initials are SYS as it shows on my receipt treated me terribly. She seemed frustrated as there were a bunch of airport employees in the lobby. She was snatching my cards and every question I asked was answered in a rudely manner. Once we checked out I saw my receipt and there were a bunch of charges due to optional donations and multiple parking charges that I had not opted in to. When I called to get it fixed they said there was nothing they could do anymore. The breakfast host was also rude as she denied to serve us because they closed 5mins ahead of time. I was not able to get my family and I some coffee before we started our day.
I flew home to Los Angeles on 10/20 for my sister's wedding and hit a snag in my travel plans on 10/24 while flying back to where I currently live. I had one layover in San Francisco and a second in Denver, but my flight from SFO to Denver got delayed, causing me to miss the last flight from Denver to home. Of all the options I was presented by the gate agent, I decided the best thing would be to just take the hotel voucher I was being offered and stay in San Francisco for the night.
I chose this location from the list of hotel options provided by the gate agent at the airport and I'm so happy I did it! The room I was put in was comfortable and clean. There was also a nice balcony I was able to go out and relax on. Stagg was also friendly and the check in process was quick.
Jackie Villacorta is a rude bully who talks to customers like they are trashed acts like she is doing the customer a favor to pay to stay at the hotel she is employed at and when you confront her about her attitude and ask for her superior she refers you to Jonathan and quite arrogantly and boastfully tells you that he is not going to reprimand her about her actions so it will do you no good to speak to him but go ahead and contact him if you like if this is so and what she is saying is true and she is allowed to act like this to customers shame on him she is a black eye to this property and a disgrace to the Marriott chain her position would be best severed in a job that dose not require human contact
Great service from the front desk staff making me feel relaxed and welcome as well as a nice clean room and shuttle service to and from the airport.
I had the most pleasant experience at this Courtyard Marriott this past weekend. I am a professional DJ and I service hotels quite often. From AV, Weddings, and Private Events. Had lots of experiences dealing with managers and staffing. By far, I loved the great customer service I received.
My friend's family hired me to DJ their family reunion. Upon arrival for load-in I was personally greeted with a warm welcome from the staff. A manager by the name of "Jackie" assisted me. She was so so pleasant and kind.
Throughout the entire event, from setup to breakdown Jackie was on top of every single detail. Both her and her staff was extremely helpful in every way. My friend's family also booked a bunch of rooms and they were all raving how great the staff was too.
The Food was also catered by the courtyard marriott. I beleive it is called Bistro Cafe or bistro to go. The rice pilaf and veggies were my fav. I had some crispy French fries too and their coffee and desserts were great.
I will stay at this hotel before my flights at SFO from now on. They have a 24/7 shuttle service which comes and goes every 30 mins to SFO. I also like how there are a ton of places to eat along side the main cross street called El Camino Real.
Once again, Thank you Jackie and your team. I could tell that you are a well respected leader and that your staff and colleagues adore you.
Have an amazing day Courtyard! And see you soon
Stayed at the Courtyard after missing a flight. Family wasn’t in the greatest mood, however Marriott has done a great job as the rooms are big enough and the beds are lovely. We also had a light lunch or so we thought. The flatbread was amazing and can be shared between 2. We also had Caesar salad that was filling.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable and clean rooms. Great food served at the Besteo and there is even a Starbucks. Will definitely stay here again.
One of the best experience I've ever had.
I wish to convey "Thank you" to Ms. Jennifer who is working at Front Desk. She went extra mile to ensure that my mail reach to its recipient.
Great job! Keep it up!
Free Airport transfer (call them). The room's air conditioning can be a bit noisy. There is not particularly much to see or do in San Bruno.
Convenient airport hotel near SFO. Needed some United cannot seem to manage even simple schedules without multiple cancellations and delays for the simplest flight.
Don't stay at Marriott. Any Marriott. They will give away your luggage to random people and leave you with nothing, and will fight making you whole.
Sabina (apologies if misspelled) at the front desk is super helpful and accommodating. I wasn’t very comfortable with the first room that I was assigned (facing the parking lot on the first floor) and Sabina went above and beyond to move me to a new room that I’m comfortable with for my week-long stay. Thank you!
Breakfast is not included and is quite expensive. Also please do not show photo with pool if you don’t have a pool.
My truck got stolen it their parking lot! BEWARE! There is no security. The thieves had the time to get around my car alarm.
Overall it was okay. It has starbucks stand inside and made to order breakfast you can buy, and parking is convenient. Towels are pretty thin and feel cheap and the water pressure is low which I didnt really like. Also saw lots of ants (stayed on first floor) in the bathroom and it seemed like it was infested in the shower drain area. For the price, would expect more.
I booked a room at the Courtyard so I wouldn’t have to drive 2 hours in rush hour traffic from Morgan Hill to Kaiser in South San Francisco, for early morning surgery. First, I screwed up and booked a non-refundable room on Booking.com, instead of having a cancellation option. Then today, just two days before surgery, the hospital has rescheduled my slot to late afternoon, meaning I don’t need the room at all. On both occasions I spoke with Rafia, the assistant general manager, and she was amazing. She was so sweet and courteous, and went out of her way to help. If only more hotels had employees like Rafia! On another occasion I got to speak with her assistant Ann. Also an incredibly pleasant, helpful and sweet young lady.
I rarely write reviews, but I’m writing this one because I want Mr Powers, the general manager, to know what an asset these two ladies are to the hotel. They are awesome, and Courtyard by Marriott is lucky to have them!
I generally don’t write reviews very often but bringing this to others attention. First of all, no one answered the call for multiple times when I wanted to book airport shuttle. And when they picked up, the front desk service was very rude and kept disturbing calling me in the room during important meetings.
My sister stayed there for 2 nights n one of the front desk (sorry didn’t catch her name) had an excellent customer service n I talked to her before my sister’ arrival till my sister checked out. My sister told me too, the front desk lady who checked her in was so nice with the excellent customer service, the way she talked on the phone n also the way she checked my sister in. I will not forget the shuttle too, it’s fast. I just talked to my sister about the place to wait for hotel shuttle n less than 10 minutes she called me n let me know that she’s in the hotel. What’s amazing service for a lady at front desk n shuttle driver. Great job. Excellent customer service.
Terrible customer service. Booked a room last minute had to cancel the room a few hours later and they charged us still. We held the reservation for only a few hours and they still charged us.
Terrible customer service booked a room last minute due to flight cancellation then got on another flight so no longer needed the room, let them know within a few hours of booking and they still charged us for the room. Gold star Marriott member.
