Covet Beauty Studio-San Diego Microblading Training

If you are looking for a great place for training in permanent makeup, Covet Beauty Studio is the place! Cassandra and Taylor are awesome trainers. The courses they offer are thorough, and they make sure that you understand everything, and have all that you need to succeed. I have been through other courses that were unorganized and unprofessional- and I walked away feeling so unprepared, which was such a bummer. After training with Cassandra and Taylor, I feel prepared and supported enough to start on my own. They take it seriously, and want to see you succeed.

I took a microblading course at Covet Beauty Studio looking to start my own business and create another source of income. Taylor and Cassandra are so nice welcoming. The course is very in depth and detailed oriented and is made east to follow along. They also provide all the equipment you need to get started. Definitely happy with my investment!

I absolutely would recommend anyone who wants to learn microblading to COVET beauty. They were such hands on teachers and really wanted you to learn and do your best. I was nervous about starting a new career path especially with 2 kids but everything I was taught in this class gave me rhe confidence to know I can do this.

Taylor and Cassandra are truly masters of their art! Not only are they amazing teachers but they are experts! I took their microblading class as well as the tattoo removal class. They provide every single thing anyone could need to become a successful permanent makeup artist, including the business side of things. They are always available to help you! I recently took the beginners microblading course at Covet Beauty Studio and had an amazing experience! Everything is set up and ready when you get there so you can jump straight into learning! As someone who learns better with hands on and in person learning this program is perfect! I definitely feel set up for success both on the business side and microblading side! I had a series of 3 body sculpting sessions (ultrasound cavitation, RF, vacuum therapy, red LED light) sessions here in an attempt to reduce stubborn abdominal fat before a cruise. I had been considering Coolsculpting but decided against it because it’s so expensive and I’m not convinced it’s worth the horrendous price. I was skeptical about the treatment, but had read some good things about ultrasound cavitation and was really impressed with my results! I looked leaner and more defined around my midsection. I felt A LOT more confident as a result, which really boosted my mood. Sophie was incredibly friendly and fun to work with. Everyone I interacted with at Covet was lovely. It’s clear that they really care about their customers and want to help them feel better about themselves. This is a woman-owned business that caters to women, however I’m a guy and felt very welcomed. Thank you Covet!:)

I have taken 3 of their classes now, (microblading, fibroblast, and tattoo removal.) Covet Beauty Studio is amazing, I picked Covet studio over Paul Mitchell and I would totally pick them over anyone else again. They are so understanding and patient and they make sure everyone leaves with the upmost confidence. They take time to make sure you understand and they fit everyone's learning style. They are not only hands on but visual, audio, and online. I love Covet Beauty Studio and would highly recommend to anyone else. Not to mention, they also have very fair prices.

Fist off I’m not one who leaves reviews, I aways forget or get too lazy, but I have to tell everyone about my experience at Covet Beauty Academy. I wanted to expand my skills and learn how to do Microblading, I did a lot of research because I had no idea where to start or where to get trained. I came across Covet Beauty Studio and when I went on the website, it was so detailed, they had the prices listed, what to expect before and after training, what the process is, payment plans I mean things I didn’t know I needed to know lol. After more research on more academies I kept coming back to Covet Beauty Studio website, it just seemed that the owners knew their stuff and not to mention if you look them up on Instagram they put alot of time into making videos regarding training. Which is why I really liked them. They seemed more hands on and easy to approach, i finally caved and signed up, the training was amazing they went into detail about everything, skin texture, older skin/younger skin, color, mapping, how to hold the blade, how to shape the brow how to draw the strokes, how to cut into the skin, how deep to cut, how the hand placement should be, body placement, what candidates are good for Microblading, how to apply for licenses, how to start your business, I mean literally held our hands through the whole process… after training they asked us to do at least 100 sketches before we work on a live model and while I was sending them my sketches each week I received HONEST feedback on what I needed to work on PLUS personal videos on how to adjust my strokes, by the time I got to my model day I was so prepared, how could I not be? Not just that, they also give you discounts if you want to rent a space or buy more tools/supplies, a whole Amazon checklist of what supplies are recommended, I graduated last week, I had no idea how quickly this turned around, I already have clients lined up and I JUST started. I’m so excited for my future, It’s a lot easier than I thought it was going to be. I have a full time job and I also compete in body building my schedule is very busy and I’m fitting this in! So it’s not like i have so much free time. They’re not paying me for this review lol this is not a paid advertisement, this is just a girl who is so happy about what she received from Covet Beauty Academy. Thank you Taylor and Cassandra!

This is a fabulous school! Great training and follow up training as well. They definitely set you up for success. I can’t recommend them enough. I just signed up for 2 more classes!

I had scheduled an appt with Taylor on March 5th around 1: 30pm, after researching for nearly a year on the microblading procedure. I started doing more research once the appt was made, later that evening, and read more about the long-term effects, the touchups needed, the downtime, etc, and decided I wasn't ready yet, and cancelled later that night, around 2am. I misread the website's cancellation policy, (which is my fault), and thought I would be able to get my $100 deposit back because I cancelled within 72 hours of my actual appointment. I didn't realize it was a non-refundable deposit no matter what. This was again, my fault, but I still decided to reach out politely to inquire if it would be possible to make an exception, since my appointment was only on calendar for about 4.5 business hours. I let Taylor know that it was fine if I could not, and if that was the case, to please pay the deposit forward to another client. I received the attached emails back from her, and actually didn't even notice the rude comment from Taylor to her colleague, "What would you say back to this? I can't stand people sometimes, " (in regards to my email), until today. On that account, I'm leaving my review. I was going to let this go, honestly, until I saw that. I find it, first of all, poor business practice to keep a $100 deposit, if appointments are cancelled within 24 hours, let alone 4.5 actual business hours. (Shady). I also find it poor business practice, and also a poor personality, to write in a business email that you "can't stand people sometimes, " because they asked politely if there was a chance the refund could be returned under the circumstances, and if not, to pay it forward to someone else. I'm sure this studio does great work, but I'm sure a lot of other places do, too, and with friendlier attitudes, and better business practices.

I went through their Microblading and Microshading trainings back to back because I am a stay at home mom ready to finally have something I can call my own but also keep flexibility with my free time. Taylor and Cassandra were extremely hands-on, and were seriously available 24/7; every time I reached out after training it seriously only took them MINUTES to respond. I have been successful in finding clients and starting out successful because they gave me the business knowledge to find my target market and how to approach potential clients. Taylor and Cassandra are a powerhouse duo and I owe these ladies the world for finally allowing me to feel passionate about something again, thank you thank you thank you!

I went to Taylor with previous work from another artist. She made my brows a million times better. She explained the process throughly and left me with no questions unanswered. I've been interested in getting my brows microbladed for a while and one day a coworker came in with the most amazing brows I have ever seen. She referred me to Covet Beauty Studio where she had them done by Taylor. I was quickly sold on where I would be going so I booked my appointment online right away. When it was my day to go, Taylor took her time to analyze my eyebrow shape while explaining every step of microblading. Her take home instructions along with ointment, made the healing process flawless and precise. I’m very happy to have found Covet Beauty Studio. I have had tons of compliments! Thank you Taylor!
