CPMA Performing Arts Center reviews
8I am a Student here at CPM a, and they can say it's pretty cool plus everything's free.
They have reduced science and history classes to half a semester to maintain 2 art electives. A disservice to our children
We went to a graduation ceremony last night. The center is really nice. The lighting & sound was very good. The seats are comfy. There are lots of exit doors in case of an emergency, which is great.
The school has no teacher class pages to check what the students are working on. You have to rely on student telling you. Many lock downs because the school keeps having malfunctioning bells. I’m sure at a certain point students won’t respond to an actual active shooter since it keeps going off. There is no motivation for students to work hard as awards are not given a ceremony for families to attend and students are not given a certificate unless they ask. No incentives for good behavior. There are lots of fights at the school and they will stop lunch early because of it. They charge for parents to attend student performances ($20) but won’t offer the students food or snacks.
It was super, I loved it. Well organize, wonderful dances and the students did such a fabulous job. Just amazing. Thank you, you are doing an excellent job.
Ample parking, and the theater itself is nice.
Bathroom outside was clean and easy to get to.
The school does nothing to protect these kids. Not only are the kids bully’s but the parents will also bully and get up in kids faces… the school has failed these kids and honestly with continuing Issues, I think the school should be held responsible.
This may be suitable for a recreational soccer game during dry weather, but is unplayable after a rain. Mud over 1/4 of the field. Grass is green, but combination of fescue, Bermuda, and various clover and weeds.
