Iphone completely dead. We went to them asking for a repair. They charged 45 dollars to fix it. We got the phone afterwards but notice they actually replaced our original screen with a fake screen and the phone died again in only two weeks! Will never go to this place.

Fantastic service, fixed my phone issue (faulty digitizer causing “dead zone” on my screen) while I had lunch.

Jake just helped me out and gave me top of the line service on a frustrating day where my phone shattered. If I didn’t live 30 mins away this is the only phone repair shop I would go to. No up sales or shady practices!

I was very pleased with the service I received from Nicole. The problem was resolved to my satisfaction and I would come back if I needed further repairs to my cell phone.

Highly recommend! CPR replaced the touch screen on my son's computer for less than half the cost quoted by a nearby competitor. The new screen works beautifully. Moreover, they cleaned the computer and removed a stuck headphone jack. Staff were courteous and repaired the screen promptly. CPR will be our first stop for future computer and cell phone repairs.

Took my 2018 Macbook Pro here. After the $60 diagnosis they determined my motherboard was completely shot & didn’t recommend fixing it due to how much the parts alone would cost.

I appreciated the honesty & help received in diagnosing the issue.

Would have given 5 stars if they were to have called to give me the updates they had. I dropped my laptop off for diagnosis on wednesday & had to call the following tuesday and then again thursday for updates.

Great customer service. The only shop within 60 miles radius that can repair my razr internal screen.

I had a moto g cell phone (2021) repaired and it was done in about 2 days with parts ordered since it's a rare phone generally. I was glad to have it working well again and service was well done and quick. Unfortunately I dropped the phone again and it's cracked, but still working. I'm not getting a new repair just to upgrade my phone though, I would still recommend the CPR repair for worthwhile and inexpensive repair for phones.

The original battery in my 20+ year old iPod finally died. After making at least half a dozen phone calls trying to find someone who can fix outdated tech and being told no, I eventually called CPR Cell Phone Repair in Ranch Penasquitos, who initially said they'd at least take a look at it. One brand new battery later and my iPod is working again! Customer service was friendly and professional. I live in East SD county so a bit of a drive but was totally worth it to have my iPod working again. THANK YOU!

TL;DR- We want to give Mike/CPR all.the.stars (and then some) for his/their exemplary work on an iPhone X that was in a perpetual boot loop state. Mike/CPR fully restored the phone and complete data recovery was achieved. We are BEYOND thankful to Mike and CPR for their competence, integrity, and compassion to help a friend recover priceless photos of her family.

The long story:
Almost a year ago, my friend's iPhone X went down the path of a perpetual boot loop state (the phone kept restarting and would never boot up completely). My friend was in the midst of backing up her phone, but she said there was some error message that happened and perhaps some issue with the lightning cable. The phone wouldn't enter recovery mode on its own. My friend decided to take her phone to an Apple Genius Bar, but after some attempts to evaluate, they sent her to another place in Carlsbad, then after more failed attempts, the other place recommended she go to yet another place that specializes in computer hardware data recovery. The last place quoted $3500 for the work to be done (but only if they were successful). At the time, my friend declined having the work done as the phone itself wasn't worth that much money and she figured she and her family can gallivant again and make more memories/take more photos at another time. The shop mailed back the phone to my friend and said phone sat in the box for almost a year. My friend had since purchased another phone.
Due to unfortunate circumstances, my friend reevaluated whether she should revisit having the work done on her old iPhone to recover the data/pictures. My friend allowed me to take her old iPhone to assess and evaluate its current state. While I know and understand that $3500 is the going rate for specialized data recovery, I asked my friend if she'd be okay with me checking instead with my network of smart family and friends:)
Mike and CPR enter the chat:) We're so very thankful that our family's path has crossed with Mike and his family through school and our local Little League. We KNOW and TRUST Mike and his character and how he goes about business and life. I brought in my friend's iPhone X on a Friday afternoon after school pick up and thanks to a tip from Mike's other half, Mike was in the shop that day. I gave Mike the story regarding my friend's phone and her situation, and Mike gave the phone an initial assessment. Mike was fairly confident he and his team could restore the phone to its pre-boot-loop state. Mike did caution me however if there were certain components on the phone that were damaged, there was a possibility that absolutely no data could be recovered. Mike didn't even charge me the initial diagnostic/consultation fee and mentioned he'd perhaps charge it if he/his team is successful. I thanked Mike for his time and went about the rest of our day. Less than 24 hours later, I got a call from Mike (though I couldn't answer as I was scoring my son's lacrosse game) and a courtesy text from him as well. To my absolute delight, Mike and his team at CPR fully restored the phone and complete data recovery was achieved. We made our way to CPR to pick up the fully restored phone, and attempt to thank Mike accordingly, but we know our gratitude will never really fully repay him/his team for their impeccable work. We hope that this review can somewhat convey some of the well deserved recognition and appreciation we have for Mike and his team as they helped recover priceless photos for my friend and her family.and at a more than reasonable price.
