I ordered the crab rangoons and headless shrimp combo. The shrimp were outstanding, rangoons were fresh, server was nice and attentive. For sure try it out!

This places charges 18% service fee and they won’t sit you down unless all your party members are here… even though there’s plenty of space on the establishment. I was recommended here, flew from out of state… food is great but I doubt I’ll come back or recommend. May be just grab to go.

I mean let's get real here, you will eat with your fingers and lick them for sure, the food is absolutely finger linking good.

Boil for 2 that was marketed as $115 turned out to be $150 because owner wants you to pay for their employees paycheck as soon as you arrive (18% gratituity automatically due off your bill before you even get seated) and literally only got 5 mussels, low quality king crab, was crumbling when you were to open it and had barely any meat. Waitress Tiffany kept ignoring us to talk to coworkers and even had to go up to her to ask for items, should've taken it as a sign when the restaurant was literally empty on a busy Friday night in convoy lol

What's not to love about a big bag of hot, flavorfully spiced seafood? A little pricey but you get a lot so it's worth it! Good drinks and TVs playing sports round out the experience.

Absolutely overrated. The shrimp isn’t fresh and the snow crab leg tastes like it has been frozen for weeks. The king crab leg was fine. The fried fish in the bucket was the worst. Fishy taste, oily. I believe People lives in SD never tried the boiling crab.

The 18% of mandatory tip is advised at the front desk, not bad but I think it make a lazy and lousy service, probably it was the day, (Saturday evening) but can't complain about taste and portions, I liked it very much!

The Hut is tucked in the corner of a busy shopping center. Cars were circling the crammed parking lot, but that seems to be the norm in San Diego. We came in for a late lunch and after checking in on an ipad, we were immediately seated. If you're familiar with Joe's Crab Shack or Mr & Mrs Crab, then you'll know what to expect here. Decor was the usual tables with paper table cloths to use as plates. We enjoyed the music in the background while still being able to hold a conversation.

Ordered a bucket for one, an SNS and a side of King Crab. Of course you know it's at Market price but $62 for King seems a little steep. Wide range of flavors and heat levels. I always go with the house to get the most flavor, though I was a little disappointed with the level of liquid in the bag. Usually there's so much I can take it home and reheat with Ramen.not so much with these boil bags. Comes with 2 potatoes, andouille sausage and 2 tiny corn cobs.

I was really impressed with the service. I'm usually wary of places that calculate the tip into the bill, regardless of level of service. Our glasses never ran dry and our waiter checked on us regularly.

Omg the food.we had the town plate for 3 People with crab, lobster, clams, mussels and what not.it was the best seafood I've had. Stunning sauce as well and the cocktails were awesome too.
Certainly a pricy place to go to but it was worth every buck. Very highly recommended! I cannot wait to go back!

Omg the best seafood boil I have ever had! We got the Seafood Bucket for me and my husband. We finished it all. We chose Old Bay Seasoning and it was the bomb so worth it for $115 for both of us.the seafood is fresh. Taste good. Our server Neil is so energetic and had served so well. Thank you Neil. Had a great time.

For those who love their seafood all creole its a great experience in a group. We have been visiting this spot for years and it never disappoints. Good quality with delish sauce and sides which add to the fun. Try the Crab Poppers too!

Ordered two pounds of king crab, corn, garlic bread, and fries for two people. Everything tasted amazing and service was both friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely going back

For my 3 kids all under 13 years my infant daughter, my husband n my mom, they charged us a 18% fee. It’s was 48$ extra on top of what we had order. Our bill Came out to be $348 for 3 - 1 lb crab sone corn n potatoes, I order, 1 clam chowder soup hubby order 6 wings with fries, my other daughter order a kids meal chicken tender n I order Mac n cheese for my infant n yes it was $348! So remember if your taking your family to eat at crab hut don’t forget to take $500 with u just in case.n I think 18% is ridiculous!
