Having purchased property back in Australia, this was the first time we had gone through the process in the US. When we moved from New York to LA, we didn't know anything about the city or the housing market. Timing is Everything
I have always attempted to keep a fun-loving attitude during times of great pressure. But we were doing two stressful things at once: selling our beloved house of 22 years near Hancock Park and buying a new house in a new neighborhood on the edge of the mountains that everyone else wanted to buy, during an economic collapse and a pandemic. Craig and David got us there. They made sure my husband and I
came out on top in our bid for our dream house surrounded by nature and made it so we closed on our city house, all within a few days of each other. What a dream. There were times when it seemed like both deals would fall apart and we were terrified. (The fear came from us, not them!) They talked us off the ledge, backed up by their knowledge, humor and ability to get things done, and now here we are and we couldn't be happier.

Craig & David Homes acted as our Buyer's Agent during the search and purchase of our house, a 1920s Spanish Colonial Revival fixer in the Hollywood Hills. We choose to work with them because of their passion for and market knowledge of historic houses in Los Angeles. They expertly guided us through the process and gleaned important information from listing agents for properties of particular interest. Once we decided to make an offer, Craig and David worked tirelessly to negotiate the deal to our best advantage. The process of inspections was also seamless, and provided additional information with which to secure the best possible price. Since we developed a strong rapport during the search for our property, it seemed like a natural fit to work with them on the renovation, especially given their experience in this area. Although we had a clear vision for the work we wanted to do, Craig and David guided us through the challenging process with humor and perseverance, and offered brilliant design suggestions.
