Crazy Rock'n Sushi reviews
14This place is bomb! The food is good, plentiful, and inexpensive. Normally in hollywood my bf and I hit 100+ easily. Here we had so much food and enough to take home and spent 88. Service was great! Inside is a little small, but theh have outside space available! Will be back
A friend told me of the best sushi spot in LA, walked right past this place thinking it couldn't be the place. It is. I haven't been to every sushi spot but I have been to a lot of sushi in the US. Definitely in the top 3 of best sushi Ive had. Don't let the name fool you, they know how to make great sushi.
Ordered Sashimi Salad to go, Fish was not so fresh. Salad was dried out underneath not so fresh, Avocado was cutted very thin slices and not so fresh, Server at the pick up site was not so pleasant even though it was not busy hour. Said, meaningless sorry.
It was my birthday and the restaurant I wanted to go to had went out of business (not Asian cuisine) so I suggested sushi which I loved I viewed the ratings of many places and this one came up on top. I truly don't know WHY? THE SERVICE was not great she came to our table a total of 3 times and one of them I had to literally flag her down as did some of the other diners she was kind of nice when she got to the table but it was a what do you want kind of nice. She did charge my daughters phone which was helpful. THE FOOD i have eaten alot of sushi in my days and this was the worst the rolls fell apart the fish was not fresh at all.the salmon taste like what old mop water smells like i was scare to eat it and so was my daughter. It lack real flavor i was just not satisfied with the experience at all I even spoke with my neighboring diners who were regulars before I got my order they said its not the best but it was good I have to disagree we were not happy with our purchase will NEVER eat at CRAZY ROCK N SUSHI AGAIN!
This used to be a good place. The prices were pretty good and the good decent. Unfortunately, the restaurant changed hands and went downhill. Now I don't trust the sushi. I stopped ordering raw fish when it wasn't cold enough when served. Not worth the money and the food is hit or miss.
Always a good go-to. Prices very reasonable and staff is very quick. Definitely a local favorite.
I saw this restaurant was busy and the sign said 50% off, oh well so let's try this place. It was actually a huge mistake, we ordered octopus roll, eel roll, smoked salmon roll, BSCR roll (i found a hair inside) and dynamite roll. Trust me the last two rolls were disgusting and i've never seen sushi roll so watery like those. After eating here, we both were feeling vomit. The only thing i give stars is because of the service.most servers were nice n attentive.
PS to the owner: you cannot mess with quality when you deal with sushi. It's better to raise the price but selling best stuff instead of putting 50% off and giving customers low quality sushi.

It's always happy hour which means 50% off on selected menu. My last visit here was ok compare to the previous one. Now i know i should only order regular sushi rolls and not the ones with a lot of stuff on top (ex: BSCR rolls). Service is always excellent, pretty attentive and friendly. Next time, i will try food from kitchen instead of sushi.
Great fresh sushi in relaxed but clean and modern setting. Fast too! Not as flexible with lunch deals as I would have liked and medium priced but delicious.
Always delicious and always fast service. We come here often and the staff here is great.
Oh, and their Nigori is amazing!
Good ok plum wine subarb.waitstaff unprofessional and looking to hook up with people they think are wealthy
Literally the worst sushi I have ever eaten. Everything is either insanely sweet or tasted of mold. Never again.
Sushi are good but the rolls are kind of a repetitive flavor.
I don't like that they use a mashed salmon filling.
Despite what the review says. It is $$ and not $. Adding all those sushi’s together makes it at least $35+. Food is good and if you don’t like cucumber (almost all of it has cucumber) they will leave it out. Staff is friendly. The Japanese beers are considered low end quality in Japan. The lunch specials are a pretty good value though. Crowded most of the time. But getting a table doesn’t take too long.
Today i tried this place for the first time. Luckily they have happy hour 50% everyday from 12 pm till 7 (?). They serve fast, portions are medium size. California and eel. It costed $13. Well its not the cheapest place but the price is ok. Its worth only if you come at happy hour.
California is mediocre (~$4), eel is better (~$7)
Not really impressed with this place but I will give it a try next time for sure
4 stars totall
UPD. Ordered Happy Hour Philadelphia Roll and Unagi Eel Roll (i guess?) TO GO: portions are smaller then it was before and it was made very roughly
3 stars now
Upd. Ordered Dragon Roll to go for $13. The taste was nice. Shrimp and eel taste good and balanced. Medium size portion. Lack of soy sauce. If you order - make sure to ask for more soy sauce.
Overall cant say much. Still 3 stars
