I absolutely love love love this market! It is so cute and low key and it has been around for ages! Their deli sandwiches are out of this world, they use the freshest ingredients and they are a very generous size! Perfect for sharing! Oh, these guys put any other sandwich place to shame! SERIOUSLY. Once you try a cream of crop sandwich you will neveeeeer eveeeer go back to plain boring basic sandwich places again. Mark my words. Also, this is the best place to go for healthy and organic alternatives, holistic health remedies, and soooo much more. They truly have such a lovely selection and everything is so natural!

Wheat grass! Fresh, homemade veggie sandwich, hand lotion and toothpaste along the way. Off to my open house on suenos 4bd w/pool/private. 825!

Received the worst customer service treatment we’ve ever experienced from a middle aged white male clerk working in the deli section who yelled at our 3 year old for touching grapes. He made a big scene from across the deli and embarrassed patrons who (at that point) had more than $300 in groceries in their cart that we were ready to purchase. Foolish treatment d customers over such a small issue and a permanent loss of business

Although it was late, 845pm. We stopped by and got a ready made sandwich. I got a turkey, swiss on sourdough bread. Unfortunately, it was not to my liking. It had alot of shredded carrots just piled on it and 2 pieces of turkey. Not something that i expected.shredded carrots?

Shopped here several times on my week stay in the Carlsbad area. I love independent health food stores like this one. I wish we had more of them in Colorado. This small but plentiful grocery store carries so many delicious fresh and packaged goods. They also have a sandwich and fresh meals counter for picnics and prepared meals. I bought their prepared tuna salad and a few other freshly made salads that were delicious. Staff is very nice and friendly. They have a great selection of supplements and skin care products as well.

Densely packed with goodness across a variety of life’s needs. A great place to spend money in support of local business.

Your quaint neighborhood natural/organic go-to grocer. I love the variety of the products sold, and they even have toiletries, supplements, and kitchen wares. The staff is friendly and the store is open late, which has been life-saving for us at times. Hope to shop here for many more years to come!

I would give this place ZERO STARS if I could. Harry the owner is such a Karen. The mask mandates have been lifted since Feb 15th 2022 and he is so brainwashed and conditioned. He’s also rude and lacks professional customer service. He does the bare minimum or less. Not sure how he got to where he is. It’s just sad. He also sells expired items. Everyone be mindful of the expiration dates. Harry “the owner” of Cream of the crop needs to go. Harry is the absolute worst! Sorry not sorry Harry.

This place is amazing! It's a really small store but it has everything! I even found a gluten free pecan pie which is my favorite and I haven't had one in 10 years! My son even got a free lollypop when he found the teddybear.

LOVE their sammiches. I’ve been a fan of this healthy store since the 90s. I’ve moved away from Oside at times. While your shopping, If you enjoy a good old sammich, that’s FRESH & DELICIOUS, Cream of the Crop has them! The bread. The Rye is so yummy as well as the Sourdough. Really taste the flavors of the bread biting in. But having the fresh lettuce, tomato’s, cucumbers, sprouts, & onions is delightful. They also have carrots… I’m not a fan of carrots. Such an AMAZING difference with their organic produce versus a typical sammich shops trimmings. You won’t want to go to those shop’s anymore.
I love the earthy fresh taste of veggies. I get the Surfrider which is chicken & turkey along with the fresh veggies. Today I wanted more veggies than meat, so that shows in my pic. Usually they are generous with the meat.
I will give 5 stars if they would add fresh mozzarella as a cheese choice!
Hope they add a Caprese sammich with their veggies, along with roasted red peppers, fresh mozzarella, tomatoes, & pesto.
Love to have a pesto, turkey, veggie, fresh mozzarella & sun dried tomato sammich.

Is expensive but the DELI is worth every penny. Good is very fresh and tasty.they take raw veggies and juice them into drinks that are tasty and super healthy. Great place

A little hidden gem my wife (who's a local) and I used to drive by this place about twice a week and always wondered about it until one day approximately 4 yrs ago I decided we had some extra time why not OMG life changer this place is awesome we now both stop in randomly and get our speciality drinks and she gets all her vegan items here. If I'm anywhere near the vicinity I have to (it's a must) stop in and get my cup of apple juice and Wheatgrass. Best drink ever.
Employees are always very polite and uplifting. I suggest this place to everyone not just vegans and vegetarians EVERYBODY, EVERYONE deli sandwiches are to die for I suggest the turkey on squaw bread! Keep up the amazing job theirs a reason why this little place had been open for a long as it had been so in and see why I guarantee you you'll leave out extremely satisfied!

Awesome place if you have specific diet needs and very friendly crew. If you are willing to pay a little bit more for a diverse selection this is the small buisness to support.
Also the deli sandwiches and wraps are great!

I’m not gonna consider price in this review because you should expect this type of place to be a bit pricier than typical markets. Everything they have here is so quality and unlike many markets you could find in the area. Staff is so friendly and it’s in a pretty convenient spot. Lovely alternative

Best gluten free wraps ever. Amazing selection of ready to eat foods as well. Perfect place for a quick lunch break.

I was delighted to find this place a block away from home. Great variety for a small store. Organic/vegan options. The staff was friendly and will be shopping here more often.

I tried one salsa that is so good with chips! I paired the medium surfs up salsa with the beanfields Himalayan pink salt! Yum does not taste gross like vinegar. Natural organic ingredients.
