Crepevine Restaurants reviews
14Customer service was great. The food was also really pretty. Food needed a lil more seasoning. I also really would have loved to see more vegan and gluten free options. The only real options for vegan food were the salads.
We had a party of 10 and we’re easily set up outside. We grabbed menus for everyone at the table and then went inside to order. I wish we could’ve walkie-talkie our orders into them.
The food came quickly as well as waters for everyone at the table.
After eating at several places around the bay and getting used to the lilliputian size meals, we were all surprised by the bounty of food on everyone’s plate. The lasagna was massive. My hash and eggs was delicious. The Nutella crêpes an ice cream could feed an army of kids at the other end of the table. Everyone took at least half of their meal home and enough for another meal.
We are definitely coming back here after our volleyball games.
Convenient location and easy parking. Staffs were nice and the garlic fries is really good.
Food here is delicious and quantities are huge. Outdoor seating is charming:) We had to wait only for 10 min in a queue to order and get a table on a Sunday
I liked the service and the atmosphere of the place but the actual food was disappointing. I found the Florentine savory crepe kinda bland and too oily
Very good food, nice place, but they do seem to FOOD-POISON me once every couple of years.: (
The culprit is ALWAYS the same: undercooked bacon. Which you’ll sometimes only notice after taking a few bites.
Yes, you can be on the watch for it, but after a long enough time between incidents, your guard will eventually relax.
Now just WHY Crepevine doesn’t emphasize what is really Food Safety 101 (pork) is beyond me. Or maybe they DO, but with new guys/cook turnover, maybe things break down some when they get busy.
Other than THAT… very good place, which is why I keep coming back. But they really REALLY need to fix that. I lost a full day from the latest incident.: - (
I love this place. The service is great, the food is delicious, and the menu is full of great options.from last visit, I had ordered Golden Gate Park salad, I will definitely reorder it. From previous visits I ordered: Asian salad is good option, El Baron burger was delicious (bun tasted so good), and almost ordered all the savory crepe options enjoyed the flavor and taste of each one. For me, it's must to order the fresh carrot & orange juice with my food, it tastes sooooo good.
They have gluten free crepes, waffles, and pancakes! I was so happy. Their food is amazing. GF crepes were a little more crunchy than regular crepes, but it didn't take away from the flavor.
Always loved this place. Just recently went again and enjoyed being able to dine outside, with all the Covid-19 measures in place. Service was and is always great. They seat you at a table outside once you order inside.
Everything was outdoor seating. The entire road was blocked for it. Had breakfast and shortly after eating we had a violinist playing music. Very good vibe! Food was delicious too.
Mediocre overstuffed crepes. Don't do it! So many better options on the street/in the area.
Have been coming here for years, great food and A LOT of gluten-free options available. They gluten-free crepes and pancakes are my favorite of any place I’ve tried, and I’ve never left hungry.
There’s a large variety of options so friends typically find something they like too (including cocktails!). The only thing to be aware of is that they get packed on weekends around brunch/lunch so prepare to wait in line for a bit. The staff is effective, and the outdoor seating and food is worth the wait!
Neat selection of dishes & drinks, but the experience eating outdoors after dark leaves a bit to be desired. I had the Catfish Po'Boy and it was terrific and downright creamy, but there just doesn't seem to be a lot of regular wait staff once food is delivered. The idea of outdoor dinner is nifty but the execution just isn't there. It's good, not great.
