Crocker Gate Trail Head reviews
7Plenty of parking available even on a Saturday. First part of trail is paved all the way to the main parking lot, which requires a $6 entrance fee. All other trails are dirt. Can be windy and foggy, dress accordingly. Great views in every direction from the top!
Ample street parking. Paved trail leading to paid parking lot and trail system. Good for walking, hiking and biking.
I keep coming back to this park because it’s got gently rolling hills with views. It looks like part of the park is used for overnight camping that is closed due to the pandemic. Other areas of the park are open natural areas that looked cleared by a bulldozer or goats. It can be windy and is popular with walkers/hikers.
Loved this hike, easy, flat and accessible! Note that is NO DOGS ALLOWED
I love dogs and I saw some dogs on my walk today, but I also heard a few coyotes howling closer to sunset time and saw a few different raccoon hanging out sessions! If you must bring your dogs just make sure they’re on leashes and staying close to you. Especially during coyote mating/young pups born season
This is a very nice area to walk or jog and the scenery is fantastic. Well worth the time.
Great place for young ones or seniors. There are several trails here with varying difficulty but nothing crazy. Blackberries grows here.
Takes guts to enter the park from here. As I always get this weird eerie vibe all the way up until you get to the top of the mountain. From there on it’s beautiful. Always some sort of assault and wanted signs around posted on the notice boards.
